Happy 5th Birthday!!!

We are so blessed to have Garret in our family, he is so sweet, funny, kind and always thinking of others. When Garret woke up I had the house all decorated he was so excited and knew that it was going to be a special day! I made colored waffles, that he requested. After he we had breakfast we had fun play around the house, then Gran came over to spend some time with us. Garret loves Gran and calls to check on her several days a week I don't always even know when he calls her, and he always has a good visit.

Garret wanted sweet and sour meatballs with rice for dinner, it is one of his favorites.

This is the cake that he wanted. He loved helping me make it and decorate it.

9 Month's

Ellisa is growing us so fast I can't believe how big she is. She is walking alot as long as she can hold on to something or someone, loves to do pat-a-cake, peek a boo, chase after her brothers, swing, play with her brothers cars and is sleeping through the night

New PJ's

Aaron's parents got the kids these fun new pj's. The boys love there's, they glow in the dark. Anyway we thought that it was a good time to get a little picture, it is not the best picture, but still fun to have.

Garret with a silly face, Ellisa with her sweet chubs and Sam the good big brother.

Bath Time

The other night Garret and Ellisa were in the bath, I couldn't believe how long her hair has gotten. Silly kiddos!

Hanging out at Gran's

Eating some yummy food at the park

One night I put sponge rollers in her hair and this is what we got!

Cutter Dam

This year for Labor Day weekend we just took it easy and enjoyed swimming one last time outside in the pretty weather, and hiking around Cutter Dam, I couldn't believe how pretty it was out there. I had never been to this lake before, the water was so clear. We had a fun morning at Gran's before going to the lake, we had a yummy breakfast with her.

We hiked along the cliff, it was kind of scary how high it was with the little boys running around. We can't wait to go out and explore a little more and see if we can find some sort of a beach area, as far as we could tell there wasn't one and if there is I don't even know if you could get down to it. We think that it would be fun to kayak it, next time!

Happy 31st Birthday

We had a fun but simple Birthday this year for Aaron. I am so lucky to have Aaron as my husband, and our kids are blessed to have him as a dad, he is so good to us. Ellisa is becoming a little daddy's girl she is so excited to see him when he comes home from work, so I guess Aaron's little saying that "Mom's are for food and Dad's are for fun" has some truth.

Aaron loves Chocolate and Peanut Butter, so it seems like every year I try to make something special out of those ingredients. This years Cake was a Chocolate fudge PB cake.

Family Bike Ride

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather and going on family bike rides together a couple times a week. Garret is riding his bike like a pro with no training wheels. Ellisa loves her seat and being outside with everyone. I am going to be sad when it gets to cold to do this any more.

Swimming

We knew that our days of swimming at Mema and Grandpa's was coming close to the end so we tried to fit in as many days as we could and the kids loved it. Both of the boys are such great swimmers. We had such a great summer, it was busy, but fun!

Cousins

My Sister in-law Laura, her girls Kirsten and Megan came to town to visit family before summer ended, we were glad that we could spend a day with them. Sam and Garret love it when family come to visit us at our house.
