Day at the Lake

This picture is supposed to be at the end of the post. The story is that after the lake the other day Aaron and I were in the kitchen getting some things put away, Sam was filling up the tub for their bath and Sam came running out of the bathroom laughing really hard and saying that we had to come in and see and this is what we found.

The boys thought that it was great to cover their dads feet in sand.

The boys loved building a sand castle and then running through it. They would dig and dig for hours, they love the dirt. I guess that means that they are pure boy!!!

Day at the River

The Boys love throwing rocks in the river, this is one of their favorite places to go. They would spend hours down there until they thought enough of the rocks were back in the river where they think that they belong.

Fun With Dad

Garret rolling down our driveway on Dad's long board.

It is sad but I didn't get any pictures of Sam on the long board, but I thought that this was a fun picture of him spinning around the basketball pole.
Sam loves riding his bike and he likes his new helmet and pads.
Garret getting more practice
Our family made these long boards for Christmas a couple of years ago, and they have been a lot of fun. When we get together with my family they always take them to a good hill and cruise down. I personally don't do so well and am scared of them, I always seem to fall off. When they made them I had just had Garret and wasn't really able to go and learn, but Aaron did push me around on it the other evening so that I could start getting a feel for why everyone thinks they are so great.

Easter!!!

We had a great Easter and loved spending time with family and friends. Sam got a bike helmet, knee and elbow pads for his bike and long boarding with dad. Garret got a little lawn mower. They also got lots of candy and loved everything. Sam had such a great time at primary he loves going to church which is good, he is always talking about the songs that they sing and stories that he hears.

Bike + Sun = A Great Time

We took the boys out the other afternoon to ride their bikes, they thought that it was great. Garret is starting to get a little bigger, which will be good so we don't break our back pushing him around all the time.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Sam getting ready to color Easter eggs, he had so much fun!

WE DID IT!!!

This is us in our shirts that we got, the day after the race. We had a lot of fun, Aaron did very well he finished under his goal time which was 1 hour and 40 min. He did great and felt like he had a good race. On the other hand I did not come so close to my goal time but I did finish and had a really good experience. The last of three miles were the hardest for me and I started to really struggle but made it through the finish line with my sweet husband at my side, he came and ran the last 1/2 mile with me which was so nice of him. I will try to post more pictures of the race day later I just didn't have any on my camera!

Arches National Park

All of us!
This is one of my favorite pictures that I took, but once again it's on it's side.

The Little Rogers Family

Garret and uncle Collin

Sam and Aaron on the hike to Delicate Arch!

Who do you think this looks like? G. Washington meets Planet of the Apes, or Darth Vader?

Once again our little family

The Guys

Sam

And Lunch!

We had such a wonderful time on our little hikes around the park with Aaron's brothers and their friend, they kept us entertained the whole time, Sam and Garret loved spending time with their Uncles and loved seeing all of the arches. It was a great weekend and we enjoyed all of it.

Spending time with a new Cousin

Aaron's brother Adam and his wife recently had their first child little Sienna, she is such a sweet heart, the boys have really taken to her. Garret and Sam are always wanting to hold her and they are very gentle and kind, which is a great relief for me. We just think that she is great!

Weekend with Grandma Schofield!

A couple of weekends ago we had Aarons Grandma come and stay with us. It was so much fun to see the boys with their Great Grandma and be able to spend time getting to know her. She is such a great person, we love her and Grandpa so much.

Basketball Hoop!!!

Sam got a basketball hoop for his Birthday, but it didn't arrive here until last night. After we built it Sam Called Mema and Grandpa and asked them to come over and see it, he was so excited and he loves it. He played right up until bedtime, and then got up first thing this morning and went right back to play with it.
