Rexburg and Baby Ethan!

The day had arrived. We were making the trek back up to Rexburg. After the trip I remember why. Zach's buried bike is a great reminder.

However, the view of R mountain from the top of the hill was a great reminder of what a wonderful place it is.

Second reminder was of course our gorgeous nephew Ethan!

Karl was super excited to feed him a bottle!
Photobucket

Not super exciting: the fact that people were farting in small rooms all weekend.
Photobucket

It takes a village to rasise a child. Or at least when we all want to meet him and hold him too so:

I got to feed him too!!!
Photobucket

Malia burped him.
Photobucket

Grandpa kissed him!!

The winning shot!

The next morning we all went out to breakfast at this new place called:

It was really fun to be together again. Zach and Danielle, while Ethan slept in his carrier.

Mom crocheting and dad making us all laugh.

When breakfast was over we walked to this place called Porters and did a bunch of Christmas shopping.
Photobucket

Rexburg is a small town, so there are some really interesting methods of street crossing. We all pick up a flag...

and RAN!!!

After shopping we walked around the Rexburg temple.

That night we headed over to:
Photobucket

There was tons of snow but it wasn't too cold.
Photobucket

There were dancing Tae Kwon Do dancers dancing right in the snow!
Photobucket

To be able to take part in the event we all had to bring a toy to donate.

Into the chili tent.
Photobucket

To the huge vat of chili.
Photobucket

It wasn't very good, still it was really fun to eat it in a make-shift tent with my family.
Photobucket

Karl wouldn't eat any chili, so he just had cheese and corn bread.
Photobucket

Next we all jumped on the sleigh ride.
Photobucket

We sang carols and made jokes.
Photobucket

Karl and I with the horses.

GABI!!
Photobucket

Mom and Dad showed up just in time to take a picture with Santa.
Photobucket

Malia has the picture so I don't have it yet, but this is Gabi getting a candy cane from Santa.
Photobucket

One more cup of hot coco.
Photobucket

Then back inside to be with the cutest little baby ever!

Ethan and I just hung out for a while.

Grandma was in love!

We all stayed up late talking and watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

PS: THE TRIP HOME

The weather was terrible. The roads were even worse:
Photobucket

Poor Maila slid off the road.
Photobucket

We were stopped on the side of the road to try and help, next to this sign. Good thing it was an emergency.
Photobucket

It was so windy and snowy, check out Karl's hair once it got back into the car.
Photobucket

Finally some good conditions!
Photobucket

FINALLY OUT OF IDAHO!
Photobucket
I don't know if I will ever return to Idaho again.
