Taiwan Fest

We went to Taiwan Fest at Plaza of nations. Apparently this fest has been around 19 years for every Labor day long weekend and we have never been there. The reason why we went this time was we got free tickets.Yap, I like free things. It is $12 per ticket,so expensive and I can tell you it is not worth the money, but for free, it is a good try. hahahha...I was surprised there were tons of people there. Did they all get free tickets???

This is how I fall asleep for my nap !!

Ever since we were back from our Alaska cruise, she has been napping like this most of the time.It used to be my MIL had to carry her at her back in order for her fall asleep or we have to stroller her for like hours. But now, NO NEED. Sometimes she even fell asleep in the middle of her lunch with her mouth full of food.
The second picture was taken at Oliver Garden when we had lunch. She was sleeping after having a few soup. hahahhaha

Richmond Children Festival

This morning when we took Annabelle to the library for music class. I Spotted something going on here. Lots of people and cars already in the early morning.It is Richmond Children Festival going on here. I saw the swap meet too so I asked Stephen took Annabelle for class and I stayed for shopping. Hahhaha... Bought a few toys for her and after the class, we stayed here for about an hour. She had so much fun watching the animal and petting them and the slide too.

Aug 15-17,2008 Alice Lake Camping

I was debating to go camping or not until this morning since I still had my cold on me and did not want to spread over to other people.
Elly ensured me since we will share the same site and thus we went without regret. And we were so glad we went, the weather was so nice and we had lots of fun. Annabelle was behave very well although she was trapped with the push car most of the time, so that our hands and eyes were be free most of the time( so glad we brought the car with us).
She slept very well at night, but I was not. I am a very light sleeper, thus every noise would woke me up. The baby screaming, the bird… and the SNORE sound from the next tent ( Guess who? Colin ?? No….). And I have a habit that I have to go to pee if I wake up at night otherwise I can’t fall back to sleep. So I went to washroom at the middle of night with the flash light by myself. I was so scared that the bear will show up and hunt me or the someone will come out to and while I was walking and the woman’s washroom was locked at night and I had to use the man’s washroom. SO SCARY. I know I am crazy. Anyway, to sum it up, we had a great time and would like to do it again next year. Yipppeee.

Indonisia Feast

Sheila invited us and Elly to their house for cooking Indonisia meal. I was supposed to prepare at least one dish, but I ended up just bring some froze Indonisia fruit. Shame on me. hehehe

Poor Annabelle

Annabelle fell off on the groud when she was running in center park with my in laws. t is on her nose and it must be very painful. I think as a parents we should know it is not avoidable.

Little Farmer

Took Annabelle to Emma Lee farm in Ladner for berry picking on BC day. At first she was sitting on the wagon watching us picking the raseberry but then she got bored, she wanted to pick herself too. Off she went and picked lots of the raseberries.She just looked like a little farmer. So Cute.Maybe I dressed her like that. Hahahaa.... Anyway, she had a blast that I wasn't expected. I thought it may be boring for her.
Then we had lunch at MCD. There is a nice play area for kids which I hardly found it Richmond/Vancouver. She and Samatha had fun running around. After lunch we went to George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary for feeding birds. Too bad, Annabelle was asleep before we arrived there and slept all the way hence she did not see any birds at all. It was a nice walking trail with seeing lots of birds all the way and of course nice view. Great day spend!!!

I can Swim!!!

Baby Linus

Finally we got to meet baby Linus. He is so sweet and peaceful. Serene is very lucky to have both quiet babies. After her nap,we took her to swimming again.I put her in the swimming ring which we haven't used for a long time and she is still loving it.

MAMA MIA

Went to see the movie "MAMA MIA" with my girl friends this afternoon. It is a very good movie and I really enjoyed the music. I think I would like to see the Broadway show when they come to Vancouver. After movie, we went to Tropica restaurant at Alberdeen center. It was my first time been to this restaurant after almost 10 years of staying in Vancouver. The food was okay though, not as good as I expected. Ran into Laura with Andrew in the restaurant. Andrew is so cute, he kept smiling at us.Then we went to Osaka supermarket for a after dinner walk. I put Annabelle into the shopping basket. Looks so funny but she enjoyed being inside the basket.
