Thanks God !!

To be clear, I do not have any religion.But, I would like to thanks to God.
As usually, Tuesday afternoon was the gathering for our mommy group. This time we went to Diploma bakery down to the end of NO.2 road. While I was enjoying the delicious Tirumisu cake and hot latte,I heard a scream ( from my friend, not Annabelle). Annabell grapped a whole cup of hot coffee on the table and spilt all on her portable high chair table. Luckily non of the coffee was on her face or her body, otherwise, she may have 3rd degree burn and we will have to run to emergency again. Bad Annabelle and also bad mom who didn't look after her closely. God bless us !!!

Chef - Ming

My sister in law invited both her and her husband's whole family over for dinner. This was the first time they invited us for dinner. I guess because they just bought a restaurant style work,so Ming - my brother in law was so excited to try it out. He used to be the chef and owned a Chinese restaurant before. There were so many food and the food are just like when you ordering a set menu at the chinese restaurant.So Yumy...... I guess I will need to do more workout after the holidays. Well..........

Meet baby Colin & Company Christmas dinner

Elly invited us ( lulu ladies) to her house to meet Colin. He is so little compare to Annabelle. I can't believe that Annabelle was used to be so little before. Lots of people showed up and lots of delicious cakes. I think I ate quite a few pieces. LOL... Anyway, it was a great playdate for the babies. Cloin slept most of the time, no matter how lound we were.
After that, I went to my company's christmas dinner @ Also. First time ever, I left Annabelle at home with Stephen. It looked like that were doing great expect she was waitting me home for nuring to bed. The food at Also was not bad but the service was so terrible. No one really servered us and it was so slow. But anyway, I won one of the 4 prize, Swarovski crystal- School of fish. Lucky me..hehehe

I know I am being laze ever since I was back from Taiwan. Just don't feel like doing anything. Christmas is coming, so my mommy group suggested that we went to landsdown to take photos with Santa. Well,even though it was happened on Nov 29, 2007 but still....
There were 6 of us and they only charged us $30 total,so we only needt to pay $5 per person and we got all the photos. COOL DEAL !!!
Too bad that I couldn't make her smile while photos with Santa on her solo picture.

Jetlag

Yes, I have to admit that I am old. I have been either sleepless at night or woke up at 5:00am and slept from noon to 5pm every day since we back from Taiwan. Annabelle already adjusted her time, but I am still struggling. I even slept from 12:00pm to 10:00pm yesterday and went to bed again around 2:00am. Now here I am again. Woke up at 5:00am

Vacation to Korean & Taiwan Oct 26-Nov 19,2007

Yeah, we are back from our vacation. 25 days, It looks long vacation, but I felt it was short, not long enough. Well, it is good enough to keep all the goodies, otherwise it may ruin the whole vacation. Korean - It was not as fun as we thought. Maybe it was because we joined with the tour and also we don't know their language. There is hardly any English on their sign, all we see is circle @ % &. But we had fun on the photos shooting of wearing Korean customs. Taiwan - We spent most of the times with my family. We also went to most part of Taiwan since Stephen was complaining that he never been to other place besides the places near my house in Taiwan after visit. But don't ask me where we had been in Taiwan, all I remember was what we had eaten. The food in Taiwan is so yummy and cheap. I wish I have 2 stomach or more.

Ready to go

Finally she pooped regular after a few times hard stool. YA! She is back to normal.

Constipation

I gave Annabelle a whole banana each day in 2 days because she likes it so much. Now she is suffering constipation. She hasn't poop for 3 days. To her is unnormal since she has bowl movement every day and sometimes even 2-3 times a day. She was so much in pain today. She cried so hard because she couldn't push the poop out. Finally, she pushed some out and she was happy after that. The poop was so hard. I hope she has no more hard poop in there.
Sorry Annabelle, it's mommy's fault caused you to suffer the pain. I will nurse you whenever you cry tonight. You need more fluid.

Baby Days momies gathering

Yeah, it has been 6 months that we have been getting together every Tuesday.We met each other back to April from the baby days class in Thompson. After completed the class, we decided to form a group to get together every Tuesday the same time as the past classes.So it has become a routin. Annabelle and I love being with them so much. It is a big thing for us every Tuesday afternoon. Now, slowly most moms are going back to work and the Tuesday gathering will be no more soon.
After chatting, we went for walk in the sunny afternoon. When we walked passed by Terra Nova park, we saw thousands of goose on the grass. I was shocked. What a pretty view.
Then we had dinner with our friends at Ajisen Ramen. The noodle tastes good but the portion is small for the price. I was still hungry after dinner. I ate 2 buns right after dinner. See how hungry I am !! Annabelle loves the Japanese cartoon character so much.

Hi Genki

Elisa invited us to go to Hi Genki Japanse restaurant for lunch. We have never heard or been there, but it is a nice family feeling restaurant. There were total 10 adults + 5 babies. What a large group. I guess we are the most noticeable group in the restaurant.
To our surprise, no baby was really fussy during the lunch, so every parent could finish their lunch. Annabelle ate the whole banana. I guess she likes banana a lot. I will bring banaba with me on the plane for sure. After lunch, Elisa invited us to go to her house for a playdate. All the babies were playing around the toy and had a great time. I really enjoyed the time that babies can play toys on their own while parents can chat. Thanks Desmond & Elisa for the lunch and the playdate. We should do dimsum together after we back from Taiwan. 10 adults + 5 babies for dimsum...........mmmmm...interested. Well see !!

Halloween craft playdate

We had Halloween craft today. The craft itself was an easy part but it took me triple time to finish it. I have to ask Elly to help me to hold Belle in order to finish it. Thanks Elly. Annabelle had some much fun with Oscar, Viola, Carolyne..ect. She fell off and her head hit the floor 3 times while sat by herself today. She was crying so hard. I am so a bad mom. Well....... Took the car for maintenance this afternoon and had dinner with Elly's family at Lyanyuan restaurant.The food was not as good as I expected. Stephen was so bad, he was late due to traffic and he went straight home and didn't show up at all. Oh my god, Poor Annabelle, your father has no manner. Hope you don't learn from him.

Playdate with Naomi

Don't know what happened to Annabelle again. She was crying every hour last night. Finally, I couldn't stand anymore, so I brought her to our bed and whenever she cried, I just gave her my breast. Both of us were so tired this morning and the weather was nasty so we decided to sleep in not going to the workout. After breakfast, we went to visit Elisa & Naomi (another Elisa ) who always invited me to go to her house but I was always busy. Naomi is 10 month now, so she is so mobile. She crawled everywhere and standed up also. I am so regreted that I didn't change to a bigger house 2 or 3 years ago. Now we can't afford. I need bigger living room for Annabelle when she can crawl.

Sushi Date at Elly's

Elly invited us to go to her house for Sushi lunch and playdate.
So I went to "beard papa's" to buy the cream puff to bring with me. I was so surprised that so many people were already line up there in the early weekday morning. I waited almost half an hour to get it and the puff is not cheap, cost $1.75 each. But after tasting it, I think it worth it. So Yummy. Make me wants to eat the last one in the fridge that I reserved for Stepehen.

As always we had blast at her place. The sushi,cream puff and cake were so yummy. Mmmm... I need more work out to burn the calories. Annabelle screwed her solid food and nap time,so she didn't eat a lot solid and was fussy at night. Well........not a bit deal.
I think she enjoys the company more than anything else.
Okay, it's her mom enjoys more.

Winsor Palace dining

Since we are leaving in 10 days, so we decided to have dinner together before we go. Originally we wanted to go to the new Taiwanese restaurant -lai yuan fusion, but it was closed today. So many restaurants are closed on Tuesday night. Why?? No business on Tuesday night??
So we went to Winsor Palace b/c they are special on Tuesday night. Steak set buy one get the second for half price. The food was okay for the special price, but I don't think I will go again though. It was nice to see them and talked to them again. BTW,Annabelle was so corporate tonight. She ate her whole bowl of food + fruit and sat on her high chair all the time. Let Daddy and Mommy can finish their food. Good girl. Mommy give you a kiss.

Packing ??

11 days more, we will be heading to Korean and Taiwan. Did I start to pack ? Not at all. Am I excited ? I was. But now I have more headache than anything else. We used to go travel a lot before Annabelle is here, so the packing part was easy for just 2 of us. Now, I have to pack for Annabelle and I don't know where to start.
How many diaper, how many clothes, how many baby food,.....ect. I have no idea at all. And one more thing, the souvenir. Most of my friends all have babies now, so I have to buy presents for them. What should I buy? I don't want to buy too expensive item. If I do, I think I will go bankrupt. But I am afraid the present is not good enough. And last thing, I have so much thing to do including my part time job before we leave, but I have no mood in doing it at all.

Family Bootcamp

This morning I dragged Stephen to go to the family bootcamp. It was a nice sunny day. Perfect to get fresh air.And as always, Annabelle was the only fussy baby. It end up, she was in the baby carrier again and Stephen missed the end of the ab exercise. He told me that he sweat more than his badminton and he will go again next week if the weather is nice.
We went to our first Mother Goose class at family place around lunch time. I saw so many familiar faces. The class is about stories,songs and rhymes. Simiar to the library one. The best thing about it is that Dad has to come together too. It is nice to have Daddies to participate with babies.
After that we went home and fed Annabelle and then we headed to BCIT aerospace open house.We wanted to show Annabelle what is airplane. To our surprise, there were so many people there. And again Annabelle fell asleep as soon as we got there,so she didn't see any airplane.

Hiking at Campbell trails / Marco's first birthday party

This is the 2nd time that I went hiking with the Baby hiking group since it is always far for me to go from Richmond. It took me 45 mintues to drive there. Feel like I was going to states since I drove passed the border. I should bring my Citizenship card then I could drive to states for shopping after the hike. HaHaHa........
Even though it is far but worth it. The scenery is so pretty. I am glad I did not get lost.

After the hike I went straight home and had lunch. Then I went to steveston Library for the story time and then head to Brigit's house for Marco's birthday party. What a busy day !!! Annabelle passed out during Marco's birthday party. HaHaHa..... She must be very tired too.

C for Cookie playdate

We had C for cookie event at Elly's house. So many delicious homemade cookies. And again it was so much fun !! Annabelle really enjoyed it. Thanks Elly, Simon and Ava.

We love shopping in States

Since the Canadian dollar is higher than U.S. We decided to go shopping in states. Nothing, just for the sake of going. As usual, we went to our favoriate store- Target. Ever since I became a mom, this is the store that we must go if we go to states. And of course, carters, walmart and outlet as well. We didn't buy much besides a umberlla stroller that we need to bring with us when we go to Taiwan. The broder cross time to States was about 40 min since we arrived there at 7:00am and the coming back wasn't bad, about 30 min with the short cut. So proud of ourself for finding this short cut. It makes us much easier to cross the border. Better keep in secret. Next trip will be US thanksgiving.

Feet taste good ?

Both of us are feel much better now. But Annabelle still has a bit running nose. Hope she will be recovered by end of the weekend. I am already feel tired of doing nothing at home. I need to get out of the house and get fit.

Emergency to Children hospital

I thought she is strong and won't get the virus from me, but I am wrong.

She had fever over 39 degree on Tuesday mid night and we were so worry about the fever may burn her brain ( chinese thinking, my mom always said). So we took her to children hospital. I believe it was 4am in the morning. Luckily there was no one waitting there. The doctor checked her through and there was nothing she can do. She had the exact symptom as her mommy. Now her ferver is gone, but she kept waking up every hour during the night......Hopefully, she have a good night sleep tonight.But look likely is not, she just yelled

Shopping Date

It was pouring today, so it was a good day for shopping. What an excusie !!!
This morning we went to the swap meet at south arm. Bought a few clothing for Annabell since it is so chilly already and she doesn't have much winter clothing. I thought I will only bought her new clothing before, but now maybe I change my mind. Winter clothing seems more expensive than summer clothing. Then we went to Waltmart to spend the afternoon. It is anverisity for Waltmart so lots of things on sale and of course Dapers. So we spent almost $$200 for just diaper + wiper....... oh my god.......It is so expensive for just clean baby's ass......... not mention other stuff.

Breastmilk help to keep cold away?

So far I had 2 cold and Stephen had one cold since Annabelle was born, but she never got it from us. Is she strong or the breastmilk help her to keep the virus away?

I was thinking of quiting breastfeeding, but this makes me to think of continuing doing it. Alough it is much easier for me to just give her formula and Stephen could help me to feed her. Not just the mommy's job anymore and I can go out at night. But if breastmilk really help her to get stronger, then I think I will continue doing it.............

Sick Mommy

Don't know where I got the virus from. I had fever almot 40 degree. My throat is so sore and makes hard for me to swallow food. Hope Annabelle won't get it from me. So far she seems okay.

Autumn Moon festival celebration at Elly's

We met Elly through the stroller work out class. I think she is 30+weeks pregnant now, but she is still in our class. She invited us over her house to celebrate the Autumn moon. We had a blast !! Annabelle was way over past her bedtime, but she has so much fun of playing with other babies. That night she slept through the night which hasn't happened for over a month.

I wish I have a bigger house so that I can invite them to come over as well.
