Pretty Little Studio - Hold On To Your Dreams

I hope you're having a great day! Things are changing fast here for me. My young adults are turning into grown ups, paving their way in life - searching for their "career" job, and the partner to love that will last a lifetime. Sometimes I wish I could just wrap them in my arms and keep them safe when things don't go as planned! I know they need to learn things for themselves , but oh.. all the trouble I could save them if they would only listen! LOL! Seriously though... I want them to keep their hearts open and to never stop dreaming because life is worth living and you just never know what you might find especially when you're not looking!
Today I'm playing with the Pretty Little Studio Tales & Dreams Collection. Everything in this collection is fantastic.. the bright color and doodled flowers look like they're from another world - a magic place where anything is possible.
Even the Stories & Tales sticker sentiments are printed on a rainbow of colorful labels. The flairs are always my favorite part of each collection - they're total eye candy - printed shiny buttons to embellish any project! This one is from the Blooming Dreams pack.
My focal point in the center of the card is two Colorful Memories Die Cut Frames layered over a 4" Cambridge Doily. Inside the frames are pretty die cut Flowers from Floral Dreams and a "Love" word die cut from Daily Dreams. I stapled a Magical Ribbons Cut Apart to the pattern paper just above the outer frame.
I added a sprinkle of colorful hearts from Magic Moments, and some shiny sequins as the last finishing touch.
Sometimes in real life fairy tales do come true. It's just so hard to be patient and wait!

Motion Crafts Spring Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the first Motion Crafts Blog Hop EVER!

Motion Crafts Blog was created for the crafting community to share their animation creations and inspire others to make unique projects.

What better way to kick off the launch of our blog that with a Blog Hop featuring our new release?! If you're hopping along you should have reached me from Miriam Prantner's blog.

We are showcasing the Spring Release which features 3 New Animation Die Cut Sets, and 6 New Animation Stamp/Die Cut Combo Sets.

My sweet friend Lindsey Larsen from Occasional Crafting was originally scheduled to post today. She hasn't been feeling well and asked if I would fill in for her for this blog hop! I hope you'll say a little prayer for Lindsey - she was so kind to think of me and I feel horrible that she missed out on this wonderful opportunity!!

I made this cute card with the Bee Happy stamp and die set. The set is a great value because for the price of a regular stamp set you're getting the coordinating dies too.
Whats so fun and unique about Motion Crafts is the motion you capture when using the slider die and special animation grid transparent sheets. Check it out.. You pull the little bee slider and here's what happens....
Here's how the card looks with both slides open.
And seriously I think these are amazing. If you know me.. I love to craft but when things get complicated - pop up cards, sliders and shakers I get a little nervous. These dies are well thought out and instructional videos on You Tube are easy to follow.
If I can do it I PROMISE that you can do it!
The second card I made with the Critters stamp set. I inked up the raccoon inside the slider window with orange ink.

Here's what happens when you pull the slider...
All the sets include all the little extras too.. a cover die for the pull, and accessory stamps like the hearts and arrow along with sentiments.
I'm so glad I had this opportunity to participate in this hop. The dies are easy to work with and the images couldn't be cuter! I hope you give them a try! I know I'll be back for more!
Would you like to see more designs with these innovative slider dies? You're next stop on this hop is Keren Baker, but before you go PLEASE LEAVE ME A COMMENT. Lindsey will pick one random winner from my blog! But you have to leave a comment by midnight US EST on March 30 to be entered to win. I'll post the winner on my blog on Tuesday April 3, 2018.  Trust me.. you're going to want this prize... it's valued at $35!!

You Always Know How To Make Me Smile!

Ok two posts today! I told you I had to cook for DH's card party. The best way for me to unwind is with a little crafting. I got this one done and wanted to enter it quickly at Hand Stamped Sentiments before the challenge closes. If you want to play too you better hurry!
Here's the inspiration this time! I loved the pastels and the repeated patterns. I even see some pretty flowers and black accents. Here's what I made.....

I started with the pretty flowers from Reverse Confetti Whole Lotta Thanks. I stamped them in pinks, blues and yellow - pastels like the challenge photos.
The linked circle background is a repeating pattern like the other patterns I see in the inspiration. The pretty flowers look like they are growing on a trellis.
For a pop of black I have a bold black inked sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by for a peek! I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
