i think the most significant event this year was tripos.
the memory of the entire period leading up to it has been etched into my head.
never have i felt so helpless, scared and out of control before.
but it forced me to reflect on my motives for studying,
and taught me how to trust.
Colossians 3:23 became the theme verse of my life.
as i enter 2009, i really don't know where i'll end up for grad school.
but i know my future is secure in His hands.
i've flown over to the uk to visit a lab in oxford and also for my graduate admissions interview.
i really like england a lot. maybe cos i've been here so long its grown on me. the thought that i have to leave soon makes me sad.
but then again i miss my family and my dear bf.
i can totally see myself coming back to the uk for my post-grad studies.
but i'm still applying to labs in the US.
no point restricting myself to one place- should explore my options.
