Fried Tofu with Enoki Mushroom and etc

Okay, honestly i do not know what to name this dish. If i were to name it my way it's going to be like this "Fried Tofu with Enoki Mushrooms, Mixed Veggies, Crabsticks, Cucumber, Bean Sprouts and Oyster Mushrooms".

HAHA

Anyway, this dish, is basically Vegetarian i think. Not too sure about the Crabsticks, you can get the vegan one if there is, or just omit it. I like my dish full of stuffs i can find from the fridge!! I made this dish and my brother said the Fried Tofu itself is delicious enough, and very crispy too!

ABC Soup

First of all, I have no idea why this Soup scored it's name as "ABC Soup". I see no Alphabet pastas in it, but this is actually Soup cook with all different kinds of vegetables. Meaning, it's really healthy and tasty! I believe it can be good for bowel relief too. This Soup is easy to cook but because it's a soup, it requires time for boiling. Actually i took this recipe from my Master Cleanse blog.

For the following methods it looks long but it's actually very simple. Sometimes i just do not know how to shorten my sentences. haha...

Ingredients:
(Enough to serve your whole family. lol)

-2 Corns (Chop it) I never knew corns are so hard to chop! 2 is enough to sweeten the Soup.
-Onions
-Carrots
-Potatoes
-Tomatoes
-White Cabbage
-Mushrooms
-Bean Sprouts
-Tofu...
-Water

Salt (to taste)

Note: Vegetable soup doesn't mean throwing in all the ingredients and boil it happily away. For example, potatoes after long boiling can mushed and mess up the soup.

Methods:
1. Peel and chop everything that's needed to.
2. Start by boiling Water in a big Wok? or whatever you call it.
3. When water starts to boil, add in Corns and Carrots and the stem part of the White Cabbage (they took longer time to turn soft). These are some of the ingredients that are "Sweet" and they doesn't mushed up even after long time of boiling. At this point i added Onions too cos i think Onions have stronger taste and i prefer to eat them when i can't really see or eat them cos they became like thin and transparent after long boiling. lol
4. When you start smelling Corns' fragrance and when Carrots turns soft, throw in Potatoes, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Tofu and the rest of White Cabbage. Keep boiling...
5. Test the softness of Potatoes. Keep boiling until Potatoes turned soft but before it turns too soft that when you touch it they disperse everywhere in the soup.
6. Throw in Bean Sprouts for quick boil if you like it crunchy. (Beware: The smell is really strong!)
7. Add in Salt and taste. You will realised just a little amount is enough cos the Soup itself is SWEET. Also, learn to enjoy the natural flavor of the vegetables.

Kids love this soup. My little nieces and cousins always request this soup from my aunt. Just prepare a bowl of rice and pour the soup with vegetables over and eat!!

Crunchy French Toast with Cereal

French Toast, one of the simplest and minimal time consuming cooking experience for breakfast or snacks!

Ingredients:
(Serves about 2 pax)
-2 Eggs
-3 Slices Bread. Cut into half, triangular shape.
-Sugar, to taste
-Salt, to taste
-Pepper, to taste

-Cereal
-Oil / Butter, to fry

Methods:
1. In a bowl, crack 2 eggs in and add Sugar (or Salt and Pepper) then whisk it. Make sure Sugar melted into the egg. Pour mixture into a plate, set aside.
2. Pour Cereal in a plate, set aside.
3. Heat Oil or Butter in a flat pan over low heat, dip both side of bread (1 or 2 at a time) into the egg mixture then batter it with Cereal.
4. Fry the battered bread in frying pan and fry each side until golden brown.
5. Scope on plate and serve HOT!

You might want to go with Honey, Maple Syrup or even Ice Creams just like eating pancakes! Bread wise, i actually used Wholemeal bread this time. Though i find that with white bread, you'll be able to taste the egg better.
