An amazing sunset tonight |
Backyard bliss |
It's been a busy week in our little world, Sage enjoyed a morning at school complete with school uniform. We also went on and excursion from Kinder to another local Primary school, I stayed at kinder for the day being a helper. Both kids enjoyed science experiments at school as part of education week. Bicarb & vinegar never cease to amaze.
We also had Grandparents day at Lily's school; Lil was very happy & proud to have her Grandparents spend the arvo at her school. We kept the family day going with a yummy dinner together, all 6 for a cosy kitchen dinner. L & R are off on a big Europe trip tomorrow, many adventures to be had.
Friday morning was walk to school day, and the rain eased up so we 3 walked together.
Roger & Stell continued on the deck on saturday, coming together nicely. Whilst the kids and I went to swimming then built a "campfire " as Sage calls it. We marvelled at the amazing sunset, toasted marshmallows, gathered wood, hung lanterns in the tree and danced until the stars came out.
Today I slept in a little, although my little Sagey was trying his best to wake me :)
When I did rise I was greeted with almost every toy displayed/dumped around the kids room, some serious playing had been had (that always makes me happy even if I end up packing it all up).
Stell took the kids to an indoor trampoline centre to jump jump jump. I got stuck into to the garden, planting some lavender, parsley, calendula and lettuce. Weeding some little patches in the lush green garden.
Now I'm inside eating promite on crumpets drinking a cuppa & thinking about doing some more crochet on my little cushion.
Weekends..I like you.
