How did I forget to post our CRUISE!
I know I have been busy but seriously, how in the world did I miss this post?! We went on a family cruise over Thanksgiving and I just now noticed I never posted pictures. Jeezo! This was a last minute vacation. We had planned to go to Cabo but the hurricanes this year literally wiped out our hotel and our vacation. We were up at the cabin trying to figure out who was going to host when Mr. Heim, lover of cruises, made the cruise suggestion. We did a quick price check and who would of thought ... last minute cruises are not too expensive. Check and done.
I am happy to report that we made it on the ship and the only item we forgot was Eric's razor. Not too bad with our history!
Evan and I night #1
Kids and Eric playing in the pool. Not going to lie, the Caribbean is not as warm as I thought it would be in November. I refused to get in the water. Way too cold for my liking.
Taber took this GEM!
In the middle of the onboarding chaos process, Deegan lost his tooth. He was bleeding, I was trying to sign us in along with my grandmother and keep track of the worlds smallest tooth. I held that thing in my had for literally 2 hours!!!
Warming up my Taber-Tot
Not a bad view for a 3 & 5yr old. Just morning breakfast on the balcony in Jamaica. These boys have been to more countries than states. #blessed
Eric and I took advantage of their daycare program 1 day and went zip lining and tubing with Jerry and Courtney. Zip lining was fun ... tubing = boring. Can't win them all. Good news was that the zip lining was a 2 for 1 deal. I paid for the tour and a vasectomy (harness was sooooo tight on Eric). I was cracking up at his misery!
Tubing train! They tied our tubes together which really took the excitement out of it.
Eric looks naked in this picture but I swear he is not. I just laughed because him and Deegan sleep in the same position. Love them!
We took the boys swimming with the dolphins. They loved it and want to ride them next time. Unfortunately they do not let you bring your own camera and charge $45 for 1 picture! That is a memory that I am going to have to keep in my heart because this mama is cheap!
Grand Cayman's and beach time. They really do not enjoy the beach (NOT)!
Grandma Karolyn teaching Deegan how to swim.
Nanny did great on this trip. Not shabby considering she is 90! I think she loved the food, company and constant entertainment.
Deegan was showing Nanny how to play Monster Trucks. It was so sweet because he kept his head touching her's the whole time. Another thing to note is that she is not the only one wearing a towel as a blanket. It was freaking cold on the boat deck. I was wearing pants, a sweater and 2 towels!
With that said, you would never guess it was that cold with the picture of these 2 bathing beauties. They just finished working out and were still warm ... this did not last long.
This is how we roll in the airport. Pretty convenient.

Ringing in the New Year
2014 was a pretty big year for our little family. We laughed, we cried, we grew as a family and believe 2014 set us up for an amazing life. Eric and have set a lot of goals for 2015 and the future and have the determination to get'r done. It is going to be a Happy New Year for sure!
I am not sure at what point in our lives we got old and our priorities changed along with the things we consider fun and romantic. The kids were away for a morning and instead of sleeping in, going for a nice breakfast or getting some housework done, we decided to hike "The Incline." It was freaking cold that day which did not help the muscles. On our way to the trail head Eric found his spirit animal ... a squirrel. You may be thinking to yourself, what does he have in his hand? The answer is NOTHING! That animal just jumped on his foot and nearly crawled up his leg. I was dying laughing.
Top of The Incline. Eric said he could hear his heart beating in his head. BAM! That is a solid sign of a good work out.
The boys and I made ginger bread houses one day. Not going to lie, constructing them is not that easy and way too difficult for a 3 and 5 year old! The boys ate most of their candy (nasty) and called it good.
This is how we do "selfies." Nothing sexy about it!
I guess the boys were good this year because Santa delivered a TON of presents. It is such a gift to watch Christmas through a childs eyes. There is so much excitement and joy. I am pretty sure Christmas, despite the craziness is my favorite holiday because I love watching my boys.
Deegan picked this necklace out for me. It was $5 and he was so excited to give it to me. Melts my heart!
Christmas morning = flannel
Christmas, round #3 and he is still all smiles.
Christmas, round #4 and they have gone crazy!
Just had to document this photo because Grandma Foo is crazy! She wore Taber's hat for a solid 15 minutes in the restaurant before he noticed and then she left it on. She is so freaking funny!
We spent New Years Eve with the Chapla's. It was nice to ring in the new year with good friends. We had some good laughs thinking about the past 10 years. Tracey and I have the best stories and I believe this picture pretty much sums up our night and relationship ... A blurry, crazy, fun, mess!
Here's to 2015 and our dreams! XOXO
