Large and in Charge

You probably thought I was talking about myself with that title but I was actually referring to Deegan's personality. We are approaching his second birthday and we are very curious to see how the 2's go and if they are going to be "terrible." Of course we are hoping for the best as #2 is right around the corner and I think we are going to have our hands full.
Funny thing with #2 is that we just realized about 2 weeks ago that we were having a baby (mentally). We have both been so busy traveling out of state for work, chasing after Deegan and living our current lives that we forgot to talk about #2 ... like a name maybe, how we are going to afford daycare for 2 and what the sleeping arrangements look like for the boys. Funny how you have all the time in the world to plan for the first baby and the poor second child is forgotten (in a sense). With that said, no we do not have a name yet but hope to when we leave the hospital at this rate ;) Overall this pregnancy is going well besides that first trimester where I thought I might die from being sick. I would define this pregnancy as follows: strawberry milkshakes, grapefruit, cheese, graham crackers, exhausted and on the airplane.
Our camera has been on the fritz so some of these pictures are old as they are from our phone ... sorry!
And the motor sports begin

Yep, he is definitely a Heim. God help me ... how does being a dare devil just come naturally to this family? We sure as heck did not tell him or show him to put his feet up as he drives down the street.

So peaceful when he sleeps ... he is also getting huge. We are going to be making the transition to the big boy bed soon!

He loves snow!

Just flops anywhere he can

Little boys and tractors. I am pretty sure it is built into their brains to be attracted to these huge machines.

We have to now buy shirts that have cool things on them otherwise we have no chance of getting him changed in the morning ... hence, airplane shirt. More importantly to note are his big boy/dada shoes. I am pretty sure he has a shoe fetish. That is all Schillinger.

After bath and "the run of naked Deegan."

Boys and their cars. He is smart enough to always make sure they are facing the correct direction.

Blowing bubbles

Sad day when I ask for a stroller for my birthday present. When did my life turn in such a different direction? With that said, I love it and cannot wait to use it!!! Thank you to my dada and bug.

Now my question is when did things go wrong for Eric. For his birthday he asked for a Roomba Vacuum. I am pretty sure if you asked him 3 years ago if he would ever ask for a vacuum for his birthday he would laugh but look at him now. It was pretty cool considering we would schedule it to run at night and wake up to a clean house. Just funny to see how our priorities have changed and what practical lives we now lead.
