Grad Trip in a nutshell

Australia is an absolutely fasinating place of exhilarating adventure coupled with some of the world's most amazing scenery, awesome shopping and scrump-licious feasting! 22 days in Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Brisbane & Gold Coast and we've barely begun exploring what Aussieland has to offer.

Sand Tobogganing at Port Stephens, NSW.

Blue Mountains, Sydney.

Sydney Opera House after visiting The Rocks

Shoppping in Melbourne - Direct Factory Outlet
At Rod Laver Arena, Home of the Australian Open.

Wine tasting and grape picking at the winery.

Feeding a kangaroo who doesn't seem to be wanting to eat any of my food. (but nonetheless makes for a great picture!)
Cutesy poo wallaby snuggling up to my camera
Cape Woolamai surf beach where we saw crazy surfers surfing at freezing temperatures
Nobbies, Seal Rocks and the Blowhole Photography was disallowed at the Phillip Island Penguin parade because flashes might scare them and make their habitat less conducive. I Googled for this image coz you've just got to see these cute fairy penguins struggling up to shore and then waddling to their sleeping areas to rest for the night before making their way back to the ocean again in the morning. The beginning of our Great Ocean Road adventure.

At a very windy Cape Patton Lookout
Helicopter ride over the 12 Apostles
Shipwreck coast of the Loch and Gorge Blowhole. I really love this place especially the quaint, heart-warming story behind it - Long ago there was a shipwreck off the coast (hence the name shipwreck coast) and this huge ship sank after hitting the rocks and all the passengers on board either hit the rocks and died or drown by the crashing waves but 2 young survivors who were swept away, washed into the gorge and found shelter in a cave. Hearing the story and realising how this wonderful rock formation managed to save the lives of 2 young passengers make visiting the place even more memorable.

What's extraordinary is that we managed to find pieces of greenish-frosted glass that were apparently remains of wine/beer bottles from the shipwrecked liner!Textbook Geography comes to life. Another of God's amazing creations.

Snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns - "Big Wally" a 4 1/2 foot Wrasse fish.

Tandem Skydiving adventure in Cairns

Taking the plunge at AJ Hackett's Cairns bungy site

Gorgeous clouds in Brisbane city
Surfing at sunny Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. Unglamourous shots, but surfing nonetheless :)

Horseback riding at Numinbah Valley adventure trails where our horses rode into mountainous regions, crossed over fresh water creeks and even trotted along the grassy pastures (much to my fear and discomfort!) Was a surprisingly lovely experience - Breathtaking landscape and a great way to explore without having to walk!

Nope, that's not us in the picture above but our trail honestly did look something like that. (Picture taken from www.hiddentrails.com)

Bourbon, the horse I rode on. Check out how much he adores me man! Major bonding session between the horse and its rider. (Yeah yeah..stop sniggering already)

Lastly, a picture to sum up my entire trip. YIPPIEEEE!!!!
