The difference

What comes into your head if I say old lady jumping?
Cute?

What comes into your head if I say old lady jumping for Christ?
Cool!

My family followed my dad last week when he song led at a church for mission purpose. It was more like a mission emphasis week for the Shan kids.

The congregation wasn't big. At first I thought it would be like a normal service. But I saw the difference when the worship started. An elderly lady at the front row started jumping and praising God, the youths praising and raising their hands towards heaven. The burst of energy was phenomenal. Felt like really jumping together with them, haha. It kinda looked like a mini rally. So exciting! Too bad they don't get songs like this.

We should have this more often!

Can you smell taboo?

ANYONE HAS THE MOVIE CONSTANTINE? I'm at a lookout for it and only have one week to spare. Hmrp. My history lect is asking us students to watch Constantine and Da Vinci Code. Though I see no real connection with our studies on Christianity.

I find it a little stupid when someone says, "I'm a proud Christian by faith, not by practice." ??? That's not enough! I don't know, it's just my
opinion. Imagine if you're asked ::Why were you ashamed of Me?::

Don't know why but I'm feeling a little touchy these subjects. Liike.. why is there a need to study religionss.. TA-BOO!

Ade's brain:: Weird how I look at my icq list (yes it still exists) and realized that my contacts are more than double with what I have on msn =)

The thing we do

AS I was walking up the street, a thought struck me when I noticed something about all the pedestrians. Something very normal and is done all the time. But finding it odd and strangely weird when examined upon. That is, the swinging of hands while walking. Maybe it's just me. But I have to ask. Why do we do that? Does it helps us walk faster? Keep our balance? Look nicer? It's also possible to walk without swinging the hands, so it kinda means it's not necessary.

I came to a conclusion that we do it for the looks. Subconsciously, we're vain.

Haha. We all know I'm just kidding. Of course it's for the balance. Balancing the centre of our gravity. But it still looks weird.

Room for all

This weekend was surprisingly eventful. Becaause...

·Coffee Bean, check!
·Backpack shopping, check!
·Meeting up with friends that was long procrastinated, check! LoL, I'm satisfied.

While I was minding my own business in 1U, I saw one of my fav shop (Ripcurl), cleared! Why is that? Are they closing? Or new stock coming in? I hope that's not the end of it..

I finally had a mini high-er school gathering. Have been feeling a bit guilty for bailing out on them at the last few meet ups.

On the other hand, JaneC is hilarious. Why? You can find her playing in between clothes at the night bazaar. You can find her paying parking ticket, barefooted!

Well anyway, girls and camera, tells a lot of stories. On one of the night while waiting for Sara to be finished with her shrek, guess what happened? This;

And erm, this particular shot, made me feel obligated to do something about it. Heh. Quite funny, unplanned, I like it.

A graduation of an Oh

Congrats to Mandy who graduated yesterday, finally!
The food at Holiday Villa wasn't that bad, much to my surprise from previous experience. The evening would have been more enjoyable if it wasn't for the emcee, who kept repeating the word "special", "very special", "specially". Gosh, my ears was popping already. Someone please give him an advance English class!

I'm pretty sure my parents were so proud of her achievement. I know I am. Ha ha. I hope she doesn't just stay at where she is, but advance and move on.

Pictures, pictures, where are you? Would be up when I grab hold of em.
Oh there you are;

Ade's brain:: Have a premonition that that one of these days she will have a drink at Coffee Bean.

Pay it forward

It seems like every Tuesday is a very long day. Just because I have 3½ hours of free time before the afternoon class! Sometimes I even wonder how I got pass the time.

WaaWeeWooo!

A friend at coll made my day when he sang You're Beautiful (James Blunt) to me! HaHaHaHa. I should start singing this song to people to make their day instead. Hm, just hope it won't start raining then. I get the hint.

But we should start applying and do stuff like this. Pay it forward. "Repay the good deeds to another". No, I did not watch too much of Oprah that got me thinking like that. It's just that these days it kinda keeps getting at my face. Let's get pumped up and do it!

Who would've thought?

It's been a while since I've last played in a basketball competition. That's a VERY long while.. Think high school. Yup. Thus the very rusty game played, at first. Once I got the hang of it, I didn't feel that tired after all. Good thing the team consisted of a few soaring star players, KShin and Amy. Of course, Har improved a LOT compared to last year =D . Who would've thought? Well I thought I didn't run much, but apparently I did.. Because my legs are starting to ache, much. I guess fun comes with a price?

Jane left~. Sadly, without a dramatic departure. Managed to hang out with her for the last few days before departing to wonderlandNS. Sob, no more mamak-McD-KFC-Baskin buddy.

Last few pictures taken together to last me 3 months;

I guess someone has to take the fall and be skinned for the release of this ahlian wannabe shot.

Poser girls, I've taught them well. I'm just KiDDing, I did not need to teach them to become posers.

Random photo taken. Random is good. Who'd be crazy to cross over and take photo?

I spotted this in the magazine. Told Jane that I wanted her to come back like this. So she posed a 'before' look. I'll be waiting for the 'after'. Er, the other two fellas there.. additional models. Lol.

Jane, I'll miss youuu. Maybe when we girls go out for mamak or dinner etc., we will place with us an empty chair just to remember you. Muah!

::Advice from the wise that's not lies but nice::
Ade's brain:: Admires people who dares to dress differently and does not care of what others think.
Bottom line, dress properly la.

God must have

seen the poor girl when she fell down at coll the other time that he built her a pathway. Yes, you've read correctly! The VERY steps where Ade fell have been made into a slope this morning. Talk about the grace of God man.. Now, if only it was built two weeks ago..

How to create a photo shoot

[Teaser]
Tired of life? Looking back at pictures and realized it's the same old "smile say cheese"?

Life isn't just a series of black and white! It's time for a change! Create YOUR very own photo shooting and be pleased with the results!

Welcome to How To Create A Photo Shoot 101.

To create a photo shoot, you need people with a sense of good sports (preferably posers), people who are in for an adventure, and a camera person or a camera with timer. Usage of tripod are an advantage, but without one, make-do a stand if possible.

Your photo shoot stands out only by doing something different than the norm. Try taking shots at where others might not think of taking it. You'd have to be ready to take on task like jumping, running, and most of all, doing it repeatedly just to get the correct angle and shots.

Sometimes, it's good to have different facial expressions. Practice in front of the mirror whenever you can. Not that I do it, but it'll be hilarious thinking that someone would do that. Speaking from experience, most photo shoots emerged at an impromptu time. Therefore, have a camera ready at all times with a set of batteries to spare.

A simple tip; Be as original as possible.

These are a few successful photo shoots for your reference;

Creativity on how the subjects or models are placed adds up points to your portfolio. Notice how the depths were portrayed on som
e of the photos.

Do not be discourage at the first few tries. Like they say, practice makes perfecto. So take up the challenge! You might be happy with the end results.

How To Create A Photo Shoot 101 can be bought at all leading bookstores. Bonus and tutorial CD included. Disclaimer: Okay, this paragraph is fake. I sound so convincing that I might have bought it myself. But the advices above are genuine.

Take no things for granted

I saw this old school video clip. So funny but yet so true. Reminded me of two person whom I saw pushed a locked glass door at two different places yesterday. Not planning on saying who that was, but Sara and JaneC, watch and learn!

I guess the morale's pretty obvious, don't take anything or anyone for granted. And look out when you're going through a glass door.

Michelle's Top 10 Bimbo Questions & Statements

Numba 1
"To fill in the petrol, should place the nozzle in the tank and press or press first then only put the nozzle in the tank?"

Numba 2
Miche would debate that this was a misunderstanding, but I would still say it.
On the way out with Jane Seb, Michelle asked if we heard her phone rang back at home. I replied "No", but Jane said "I did". Miche's next question was,
Miche: Was it before or after Jane came?
Jane and I: ??!

Numba 3
While queuing for the toilet behind a petrol station, she saw a large satellite disc and exclaimed, "I didn't know petrol station also got Astro!".

Numba 4
On a pasar malam trip, I asked for a favor, "Please buy me a drink, get it for me if you see coconut". She got me a sea coconut.

Numba 5
A group of us (ants) were having lunch in a restaurant. Music could be heard over the speakers. Miche asked, "How they put the songs in here ar?"

Numba 6
EJ expressed that if she goes to Miri, Sarawak for her national service, she would cry. Then came a fast comeback, "Never mind what, at least you have something to do in the bus, better than nothing".

Numba 7
She saw an operating laptop in a car and goes, "Wah, your car got wi-fi ar?"

Numba 8
On the way to buy Baskin Robbins' ice-creams, we saw a few cars involved in an accident by the side of the road. After 30 minutes or so, we headed to JaneC's house with the goods. We saw another batch of cars stopped by the road (obviously another accident), and she said, "Eh, they're the same cars we saw back then!"
OkaY Michelle, why would they move from one location to another?

Numba 9
At the Indian restaurant, Mandy waited quite long for her capati while we ate our banana leaf rice. So she ate some of our food and mutton while waiting. By the time her food was served, she said she was full. Michelle tried persuading her by saying, "Never mind what, mutton is like appetizer because it's sour". Hmm.

Numba 10
"Oh, being a bimbo is hard".

Yes, very hard indeed.

Note: Miche, no pun intended!! You're just too funny.

Well, I'm not just done yet.. Since this post is about you and you have not uploaded the pictures the other day from Sepang, I took the liberty to upload this one myself. Enjoy~!

The banana speaks

Communication Skills class. I like. Know why? It's sorta like an English class. No wait, it IS an English class. So there's this lecturer, she doesn't give allowance for any other language spoken in the class. Each foreign word (other than English) uttered will cost you RM0.50. Muahahahaha, lagi I like.

And so June begins!

Spend a day in Sepang?

Bet you're thinking of F1 track only right? That's where you're wrong. When my dad first suggested going there, I was thinking "Why?", but now I know. Beach and Sepang? Sounds odd, but felt so right!

Let me show you what I'm talking about with a glimpse of what I've experienced;

Can't seem to run away from ice-creams these days.

Michelle took LOTS of doofus' photos. One of em (Miche, you better show the rest, if not I'll upload it here!);

Hmm.. I really see a lot of pictures of yours truly here.. Don't call me poser okay? Camera seems to love me that day. =)

That's it for Sepang Gold Coast. Can't wait for another day trip there.

FGA!

Had so much fun there and all our practices paid off. Earliest gig EVER. But made new friends, blessed by God, and we moved forward in another journey together.

GREAt job guys. Lovies much! (Thanks for the sms Diana, you'll always be on my mind somewhere though you think no one thinks of you.)

Time passes but memories are forever (unless you caught amnesia)..

100%

Class leader. Sounds so wrong on so many levels man.

I learnt to look at marking a grade in another perspective. The 100% is yours when you start something. But as you go on, the marks degrades if you do not maintain yourself. I guess in a way, you can apply this in life. Looking at it as everything is yours for the taking. Just that you need to work towards keeping it. Want something, go get it. Don't just sit around and wait for it to come (cause it never will, unless you're super lucky and people likes you la. But that's not the point)!

But of course, I can't talk and talk only and not do anything. I want ice-cream! And I'm going towards the fridge to get some! Okay, I've made my move already. Now it's your turn.
