Pumpkin Patch with the Cousins

Last weekend I offered to keep Holland while Meredith and Craig went to a Tech football game.  I picked her up and drove her to Cleburne for the day.  We decided while she was there to take our annual trip to the pumpkin patch so we could get a picture with all 7 cousins together!  It was a pretty successful trip and we got a pretty cute picture of all of them!  Here are some of the better ones:

A Day with Granna

Yesterday my mom called and asked if she could take Ryan shopping with her for a few hours so Jon and I could hang out and go to lunch.  Ryan had such a good time and I enjoyed getting updates about what he was doing throughout the day.  He loved going to the mall, playing on the indoor playground, and eating at the food court!  I am so thankful Ryan has the opportunity to spend one more year with my mom before he starts kinder next year.  He is going to be lost next year!

Halloween 2016

We had a fun Halloween this year.  We had several last minute costume changes, but in the end we ended up with ketchup, mustard, and a cat.  We went to our church's trunk or treat and the kids had a good time. They got to see several of their friends and got just enough candy to be satisfied!

the "Garden of Eden" trunk, complete with a live snake!

Ryan and his best buddy Hays
Addison and her favorite 4-year old
Ryan and his Sunday School teacher Mr. Jeff
Ryan's favorite doctor, "Dr. Luke", who has a side talent of walking on stilts
Maybe the best Halloween costume yet!  A WalMart baby with her redneck dad!

Aubrey's PTA Program

Tonight was Aubrey's 2nd grade PTA program.  They  performed several songs they had been learning in music this year.  Last year Aubrey got too nervous to perform, so I was worried she might not get up there.  I was so proud of her for getting up there and singing.  She did a great job, and I even think I saw her smile once or twice!!!

Colorado - Friday

Friday morning my parents got up and took all of the kids to their annual trip to the donut shop!  There is a new park across from the shop where the kids sat and ate their donuts.  Mom was able to get several cute pictures of the kids while they were there.

When they got back we decided to take our annual bike ride down to Frisco, which was about a 9 mile bike ride.  Cory was able to rent an electric bike and come with us which was a lot of fun.  This year we let Parker and Addison ride their own bikes, Eden and Aubrey rode a tandem bike with me and Jon, and Ryan and Lily rode in a seat behind Amy and my mom.  I was so proud of my mom for attempting to do the ride with us.  She did a great job.

When we got to Frisco we secured our bikes and walked to one of our favorite places to eat hot dogs.  They were super yummy!  The kids had fun riding the public bus back to Breckenridge too.

That night my parents fed the kids and let them swim again while Jon and I got to go enjoy a dinner out.  Amy and Cory drove over to pick up all of our shirts for the big hike.
