i just got back from my work trip to JB. it has been ages since my last visit to the southern state (if i can recall correctly, i was still in kindy when the whole family went to visit some relatives there)haha! lama gila kan??

it was a short trip, yes, but definitely a memorable one. too bad, didnt have the passport with me. otherwise, i would have 'crossed' my way to singapore! hehehe..

we stayed in the smelly Seri Malaysia Hotel, coz it was nearby the event place. i text an old friend of mine, from Uni - told him that i was going to JB. by the time we got to the hotel, he called me up. turned out, his office was just next the smelly hotel (isy, apa asyik typo error je ni!) hehehee.. it was nice of him to drop by while we were setting up the event hall. managed to catch up with him, after almost 5 years (i think)

Faizal, or famously known in Uni as Tikus! hehehe.. p/s: uya, hihihihi.. KLMJ tak??

dinner time, we were taken to this seafood restaurant, in Larkin Perdana. we were starving from some shopping in Plaza Angsana by the time we got to the makan place. nasib baik la semuanya sedap! hehehe.. thanks to En. Hidzir & Pn. Noorizam, our franchisees in JB.

hungry faces

before heading home, we sempat pusing-pusing around JB town, and made a pit stop at Danga Bay to check out the ocean! maklumla, kat KL takde laut...! hehehe..

Danga Bay was HOT! (HOT cantik and HOT panas!)

singapore.. from a distant

on the way back.. 'ter'click button camera! hahahaa.. tup tup, this pix appears in the memory card!

note: i saw MAF 14 in hartamas. hehehe.. encik azhar sulaiman.. nak amik gambar, tapi takut nanti jadi papparazi la pulak!

me: yelaa, asal aku tgk malay programme kat Astro, executive producer dia mesti nama ko. hebat skarang!

him: hahaha..! cari makan... ko dah brape org anak skarang??

me: 2 lerrr.. masih tak bertambah..

him: aku - coming sooon! hehehehe...

me: ko biar betul! cepat tuhhh!! aku rasa, mcm ko baru je kawin...?

him: ala... tunggu lelama buat apa.. buang masa! hehehee.. ngam2, lepas nikah...

(the rest of the conversation was bla bla bla.. bla bla bla.....)

which reminds me, everyone's getting pregnant now.. hehehe.. rezeki kan..? so, should i be one of them...? mr. hubby, please comment on this.. TQ ;)

Craig David - Unbelievable
Always said I would know where to find love,
Always thought I'd be ready and strong enough,
But some times I just felt I could give up...
But you came and changed my whole world now,
I'm somewhere I've never been before...
Now I see, what love means...

It's so unbelievable,
And I don't want to let it go,
Something so beautiful,
Flowing down like a waterfall...
I feel like you've always been,
Forever a part of me....
And it's so unbelievable to finally be in love,
Somewhere I'd never thought I'd be...

In my heart, in my head, it's so clear now,
Hold my hand you've got nothing to fear now,
I was lost and you've rescued me some how...
I'm alive, I'm in love you complete me,
And I've never been here before...
Now I see, what love means....

When I think of what I have, and this chance I nearly lost,
I cant help but break down, and cry....
Ohh yeah, break down and cry....

Now I see, what love means...

if...

...Malaysia were to experience 4 seasons, for fall & winter... i'd filled my closet with some of these..

'starz'-struck evening

with some impressive PR skills, i managed to get passes to see the finale of Gangstarz from Encik Terence Paul of MediaPrima / FlyFM / HotFM (hehehe... thanks buddy! i hope ur snake's feeling much better now ;p )

to be honest, i didnt really follow the journey of Gangstarz. the ONLY reason that i wanted to go was because of my Superman the host of the reality show. yes, i went for the wrong reason! hehehe..

so, sunday nite, 7 of us reached Stadium Malawati at around 7pm, and started to line up. it was drizzling, but luckily we didnt have to queue that long.. being the minority among people in their late teens and 20s, we felt somewhat awkward and out of place.. we were definitely not as excited as they were... gosh, sudah tua rupanya kitaorg eh?? *sigh*

miz nyna, encik farid, faizal & his fiance (not pictured)
(note: encik farid kita ni nak lawan faizal - the reigning champion of iklan toothpaste)

kak watie, diane & moi - the shoe-addict-mom (gosh, do i look phat fat or wat!??)

the konsert & the lima

the hosts - my Faizal Tahir & FaFau

if any of u - my readers - know Faizal Tahir, please tell him that i lurve him his music so very very much, and that i think he's just SUPER-COOL....and he RAWKS!!!

(note: sorry for the bad quality of pix. those shots were taken from where i was seated. jauh babe! and also, sorry for the many typo error in this entry.. hehehe)

*********

my bad! i was so consumed with thots over Faizal Tahir i totally forgot to congratulate the winner of Gangstarz, Malaysia's very own One Nation Emcees. but, if i were to vote that nite, it would definitely go to De Reborn! their collaboration with Dayang was superb! tapi, maklumla.. seating behind the One Nation Emcees' gang of fanatics, i didnt dare to cheer for De Reborn that much! keh keh...

pheww!

finally, it's all over... im so very very glad! (wondering wat the hell am i talking about..?)

hehehe.. the event that gave me moons of stress, headaches & sleepless nights is DONE! it was quite a huge thing for me, coz i was the main coordinator of the whole event, which involved more than 500pax!

special thanx to everyone involved - directly or indirectly - in the organisation of the annual affair. yes, there were thousands of hiccups + panic + heart attacks, but in the end, WE DID IT! i could not have done it without your help..! and please, next year, don't ever think of electing me as the chairperson again! i'll vomit blood - seriously! hahahaha...

im still tired from walking and standing (in 2 1/2 inch heels!) for 5 hours - straight! walaupun sangatlahhh penat masa event tu, masih sempat camwhoring with BFFs! vain!!! ;)

no, it was not an oscar / grammy

with my extra pairs of hands.. they help keep my sanity in place! (sorry for the candid face!)

midnite ramblings

i got an old a new 'pet' couple of weeks ago, and only today i 'revealed' it in front of mr. son (note: hey, im not a bad mother, but i have no choice but to hide it from both kiddos. FYI, my O2 is now suffering 'critical injuries' caused by mr. son and ms. daughter).

the fact that i need to hide it from them, i dont get to explore my new pet that much. but, i did get some shots of both kiddos and their cuz today. it's well known that PDAs are not that great when it comes to photos' quality. with the 2.0mega pixels camera, and some frame templates, these are wat i have:

mr. son with his 'im-so-mad-that-i-cant-touch-mom's-new-HTC Touch' face

ms. daughter and one of her many cuz!

my fave frame, but not really sure wat's up with the Best Buy Top 10 tag

p/s: with mr. son spending the night at his uncle's house in USJ, im not worried to 'expose' it.. but, tomorrow, it will be safely 'tucked' again, somewhere..

look at the time........ it's almost 1am. better catch my beauty sleep.. nighty nite peeps!

(note: from this entry onwards, i will no longer use Verdana, smallest. so, u dont need to squint ur eyes to enjoy laugh at my nonsense..! but then again, my entries will be slightly lengthy than usual (hihi.. kengkonon mcm byk sgt la idea tu! thank u for bearing with me..)

being on MC, i've spent my evening bloghopping resting. anywaaaaay, while resting, i got to catch up on my friend from Uni's blog, and we happen to share a common addiction (due to her request, i cant disclose her name / blog address. as much as i want to link her blog to mine, i just cant. so, babe, no worries! *wink*).

and from her blog,i found out about this super amazing-invention #1:

the Shoe Wheel! (Pix courtesy of Rakku Designs)

Taken from Rakku Designs: "The Shoe Wheel is the brainchild of designer Danilo Torro, who formed a Hong Kong based company manufacturing private label fashion collections for Latin American and U.S. customers. After 13 years in the garment business, he eagerly sought to create his own product that would be free from the capricious nature of the apparel industry. A few years ago, upon moving into a new apartment in Hong Kong, Torro--a former manufacturing engineer for McDonnell Douglas--got tired of having no storage alternative but to pile up his family's shoes in the corner of their spare bedroom. Seeking a better way to organize their shoes, he came up with a brilliant idea to design a storage system that would simply make their life easier. This creative challenge fostered a four-year passion to develop the Shoe Wheel. Paying homage to the Shoe Wheel's Asian Roots, Torro and his wife and partner, Lori Quon, named their company "Rakku," meaning "rack" in Japanese."

that's not my closet. there's not a single thread in the shade of pink in my dark wardrobe. (Pix courtesy of Rakku Designs)

cool ay? retailing at [Malaysian Ringgit]299, i certainly think that it's a great way to organise your shoes. comes in 4 different colours, this invention isn't only for women shoe-holics. they've also created Shoe Pod for men, and Rakkido for Kids. so, no more headaches, especially for families with a whole load of shoes! check out urself at Rakku Designs.
p/s: i can already imagine mr. son and ms. daughter fighting over who gets to push the wheel IF i were to have it @ home *sigh*

from ShoeBlog, i found this super-amazing invention #2:
and there's not a single pair of pink shoes in my cabinet. (Pix courtesy of The Heel Shield)

taken from The Heel Shield: "A new pair of expensive, high-heel designer shoes inspired the creation of the The Heel Shield. On the first wearing a pair of yellow designer shoes were ruined while driving to a special function. Even dyeing the shoes couldn't cover up the scuff mark. Shoe protection has always been an issue for drivers. In fact, numerous inventors over the years have developed different shoe protection and floor mat devices to keep drivers from scuffing their shoes. However, none of the other models of shoe protection products have been easy to use, work for men and women’s shoes, boots and athletic shoes and been effective until now. The Heel Shield will protect most of your shoes easily - slip it on prior to driving and slip it off prior to exiting your car."

for a shoe-addict (who is obviously in LURVE with shoes) who drives everyday, this invention comes in handy, rite? comes in few options of colours, this item can be ordered here. im not sure whether it's reachable here in Malaysia. since im enjoying my 2-day of MC since im addicted to shoes, i'll do more research on it.

(special note to my friend from Uni: babe, im soo green with envy with ur globe-trotting-work. can i submit my CV to ur HR?? hihihihi)
