Happy Halloween!

1st Days of School

Cate started 3rd grade last Monday!!!  Drew and Jane Ramsey started today...TK for Drew and 4 day 3's for JR!  Good days for all!

It was a fun and full summer and somehow I did not get any blogging in!  I hope to catch up now that school is starting!!

Undefeated!

Cate's summer team, Charlotte Swim and Racquet, won their last regular season meet last night to make this the 6th season of being undefeated!  Way to go Dolphins!  Cate has done very well this year as a 7-8, helping her team with these victories.  She is completely in her element in the pool and loves, maybe more than swimming, the friends she has made through swimming.  She has made the All Star team and will be racing against the best swimmers in our league next Thursday.  Here are some pics from yesterday!

Happy 5th Birthday, Drew!

On Wednesday, Drew turned 5!!!  It was a fun day with decorations, presents, cupcakes, cake, grandmom, papa and friends.  He will have a Lego party on Saturday with his friends!!

March

Where did March go?  We started the month off in Asheville for the Southern Conference Tournament.  We have become quite the Davidson basketball fans!  We made a weekend of it and had a blast.  Later in the month, we put a house under contract and so we have been super busy preparing our house to put on the market.  We also just got back from a week in Boston visiting Gmom and Papa for Spring Break.  We visited the Museuem of Science, Plimoth Plantation, Cape Cod, the beach, the library, played lots of games and really enjoyed our time.  I have some great pictures that I hope to post soon. 

Trying to be mindful of this weekend of Easter.  So thankful for Jesus our Risen Lord and Savior!

Hoping....

Carolina basketball is in Drew's future!  He's had his first baskeball clinic this month of February and has enjoyed it.  We are practicing in the driveway a lot now!  Roy Williams, here we come!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Jane Ramsey

Jane Ramsey turned 3 years old yesterday!!  She wanted a princess party and her wish was granted! 

It was a fun day, spent celebrating with her friends and cousins. 

We love our little Jane Ramsey!  She brings such joy to our lives.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, a couple months ago, but never too late to capture the wonderful moments.  Gmom and Papa came for a week.  Faith, Sasha and Lucy came for a couple days.  We hosted our very first Thanksgiving!  Jacob cooked the MOST delicious turkey in our oiless turkey frier.  We went to the Charlotte Thanksgiving parade, we made fun crafts, and mostly enjoyed spending time together.  We are so thankful for that time together and for our family.

Christmas

What a gift we have in Jesus!  Here are some pictures from our Christmas morning and time at Gran and Daddy Mac's. 

 I made Disney photo books for each of the kids and Jacob from our trip.

 My dad is so amazing with his word working.  He made corn hole boards for Jacob. 

This is the best Christmas gift ever (above).  They are called MagnaTiles...magnetic shapes that you can build all sorts of stuff with.  We gave them to JR but we all have fun with them.   

We did get a couple of days with the family but Cate wasn't feeling 100% so we had to leave a day early.  We are thankful for the time we had.
