All I have to say is that if you aren't watching you are missing out. Adam has stuff going Wednesday nights so we wait until the weekend to watch our LOST episodes. If you aren't into it, trust me you should be. (You can watch all the seasons free online by the way) This new season is already starting off amazingly. Please no spoilers, we aren't all the way caught up. I'm kinda obsessed with it, and would recommend it to you all. Is anyone else watching this season?

Hiding spot
When Greta was a puppy her favorite place to go was under our bed. She now is far too big to venture under there. She has recently discovered a new place to hang out, and play. She'll toss her ball under Gabe's crib on purpose, so she can go get it. I almost think she goes there to hide from Gabe sometimes. I can't imagine why she'd hide from her...getting your hair pulled out, and eyes poked non stop has got to be fun right? That's not gonna work anymore, cause Gabe followed her under there. Those of you who read her 8 month, know she likes to scoot backwards. She worked her way over there and scooted herself right under there with Greta. They ended up hanging out under there for a bit, and Gabe just watched Greta come and go, all content to just be under there with her. Looks like they both found a new hiding spot.

Disney Princess
My sister in-law put this on her blog, and I thought it was cute so I asked if I could post it. I thought it'd be fun to see which princess all my sisters and friends end up being. I ended up with Pochahantas here, which I have to admit isn't at all the person you'd normally think of when you consider the princesses. Ha. I guess I'm okay with it too. I can kinda see it. No? So if you care to do this, take the quiz, and when you post a comment share your results of who you are. It's cute, and the quiz isn't long.
Free-spirited and wise. You have a strong passionate spirit that touches and changes all who know you. The wisdom and common sense that you have is really what guides you through life. Even so, you also have a very playful side that loves adventure and excitement.

New Vacuum
So Adam and I have received a new vacuum. It really is amazing. It's one of those ones that you put on the floor and let it loose. If it runs into a corner it turns around and goes another way. You could leave it on your floor all day and it'll roam to all the little pieces of everything stuck and pick them up. It knows where things are. You have to be careful if it sucks up something too big though, it gets stuck. Don't worry it'll get every little thing it can. Your floor will be spotless. So if any of you are looking to borrow our amazing vacuum we'll make sure to send Gabrielle your way.

Already 8 months
This month has been a real change around our place. I know that each month has significant milestones, but this month things have turned around. Gabrielle has definitely been keeping us on our toes with all of the new changes happening to her. Here is our new hefty list:
There are a lot of pics. A lot of them she is dressed the same too, just noticing. Oh well, I guess we got our money's worth out of her winter clothes.
-She now loves to give hugs or cuddles (as we call them) and kisses. WE LOVE IT! She gives you these open mouth kisses trying so hard to show you affection. She loves to scoot close to you and lay her head on your chest. It makes us melt every time she does it.
-She has been teething like crazy. She has her two bottom and top teeth. She received those within a week and a half of each other. It was a lot of fun. ;) A bunch of her other top ones are breaking through. I don't venture in her mouth with my finger as much as I used to, cause she loves to bite anything put in there.
(These pics are some of my attempts to get pictures of her bottom teeth. The top are impossible to get for now, but you can see her bottom in some of these)
-Since she has teeth we have been feeding her some crackers, puffs, and other soft stuff. She has already caught onto chewing with her teeth and does pretty well. Every once in a while she'll break off a big piece and she gets this panicked look on her face, cause she's not sure how to chew it. She's funny to watch. A lot of the time she is more concerned about the crumbs on her tray than what is in her hand. She tries to pick them all up one by one. It could entertain her for hours.
- She is getting so independent. She wants to do everything herself already. She wants to hold her own food, and play with her toys how she wants to. She has learned how to throw major dramatic fits. HA. Our peaceful girl that is so much like her dad is starting to show signs of her impatient mom. yikes! She doesn't like stuff taken away from her and does this major high pitch scream if she doesn't get what she wants. She is such a dramatic girl somedays. We're trying to teach her the scream won't get her what she wants, she has to calm down first, which she actually seems to catch onto lately.
(this is her mad at me for taking something away)
-She talks like crazy. She has learned to say Dada, Hi, and Yeah. Don't ask me where Mama is, we've been trying. She hasn't associated them with what they mean, but it's so cute to hear her rambling on. The only word she seems to associate with what it really is, is Greta. I swear she knows who that is, and looks for her when we say her name.
-She has this new curious face she does when she is trying to see something or hears something new. She makes this big "O" with her mouth until she figures out what it is, and then she grins like crazy.
(Her new favorite face)
-When she gets excited she bounces up and down and flaps her arms, it's really funny.
-She is an army crawling fool. She gets to where she is going pretty fast, and is more willing to be on her stomach. She can go from sitting to her hands and knees pretty good, but when she tries crawling she scoots backwards. She has scooted under the bed a few times. So we aren't quite there yet, but she is catching on fast. She is starting to try and pull herself up on things too.
(She scooted backwards under the bed)
-She is loving her baths, which is a new development for her. I think she loves her daddy time.
-She is constantly pulling off her socks. I really can't keep them on her. That's the first thing she does when I lay her down. During the day if she doesn't have a toy to play with, she pulls her socks off. Silly bug.
-She now has enough hair to wake up with "bed-head". It makes us laugh when we go to get her in the morning.

(These pics are a few of the outings we've taken with her lately to some parks. The weather has been really nice here)

Play along. Copy and paste and highlight the things you've done! Then when your finished add something you've done that wasn't on the list!
Adam and I both wanted to do this, so I am hi-lighted in the pinkish color, and Adam is green. If we both did it, we hi-lighted it in both colors. Thanks Lil that was fun!

Moms are perfect
Lately I've finally found the time to be committed to working out more regularly. I feel I've done it enough that's it's become a habit and it would bug me to stop. That's a wonderful thing to me. Sometimes it's so hard cause I still want results so fast. I want the baby weight gone, and my hair to stop falling out, etc, etc. HA. I get so impatient with it. I know some of you are thinking it's about time, but it's been hard for me personally. I won't go into my reasons why, cause that list is long. ANYWAY I'm getting to my point.....
I read an article in a parenting magazine about a mom who became obsessive with being skinny after having her child. She tells her story and how unhealthy it actually made her. She goes on to say that she finally learned patience, and that her daughter doesn't see her that way. To her daughter she is perfect. I LOVED THIS! To Gabe I am perfect. (For now ;)... ) I think that sometimes we get so caught up in fixing ourselves we don't realize that are kids don't care. They just want to be around us, and near us, and to play with us. I've never looked at it that way. We're the MOM. They turn to us for love, comfort, help, questions, injuries, to learn all they can, etc. We are their heroes. We are perfect and beautiful in their eyes. I thought it was inspiring. So for those of you who might be having a tricky day, just remember your kids think you are the perfect.

4 years and counting...
JANUARY 14, 2005
My mind still can't seem to grasp how quickly time goes by. Today Adam and I have been married for 4 years! I know it's not some significant milestone of a year, but it seems crazy none the less. I can honestly say that life is wonderful for us right now, and just keeps getting better as each day comes.
I never pictured myself having a winter wedding, but there is something so magical about it. It seems like life is so calm and peaceful whenever our anniversary rolls around. We can really reflect on our time together and the love that we share. We plan on spending the day together and hanging out. Adam always makes the day so special for me, I look forward to it every year. It already started with breakfast in bed. :)
We love that we were such good friends before we began to date seriously. We got to know each other without the intimidation of dating. When we did start dating, we both knew and understood how one another worked and it seemed to make our relationship that much better. We love to look back and talk about how things went down. It's funny to reflect on our wedding day. How neither of us got sleep the night before cause we were so excited. Sitting in the celestial room together. I love how our reception turned out. We have grown together and experienced life in so many ways. We help balance each other well, and care to make the other person happier than ourselves. We love that we have that knowledge that we will be together forever. Now that we have Gabrielle it means even more to us today. Here's to another great year and wonderful marriage that brings us such joy. Love you bebe.

How Our New Year Began...
New Years Eve I woke up with a pounding headache. Throughout the day is continued to get worse, and I ended up with body aches and a slight fever. As you can imagine our night wasn't very eventful. I thought for sure it was a killer head cold, and I'd end up sick the next day. The next day I had a slight headache, then I was fine. Really weird. So our new years we went to bed early and called it good. Oh well.
Thursday night Gabe was really whining, her second tooth was breaking through, and she was a little cranky. Her bottom teeth are in, and one of the top already feels ready. Talk about super fast. So friday morning and throughout the day she continued to be cranky, and never smiled. (among a few other things) Not like Gabe at all, despite teething too. So we took her temp and it was way high, we got a doctor's appointment and found out she has an ear infection. AHH! Poor bug, she was so miserable. Teething and an ear infection. I pulled an all nighter last night, cause she didn't want me put her down. I happily obliged, she was not feeling good at all. :( It made me so sad. Today she is doing loads better. Thank goodness. Hopefully it will pass for her quickly. She does like her grape flavored tylenol. HA. She gets mad when I am done giving her the dosage, cause she wants more. My child is secretly an addict.
So even though the last couple of days have been crazy, having Adam at home this week has been great. We have managed some fun in all of it. We recently purchased a baby bike carrier. (Adam calls it our baby trailer) We got an amazing deal on it and we're stoked. Thanks Brad! Adam took Gabe around in it to see how she felt about it. She loved it. Now we really want it warmer so we can go on bike rides as a family again. The seat holds two kids, so Gabe took her Elmo with her. Adam went around the block and said when he looked back at her she was grinning and looking at everything. The other two pics are just Gabe in her crazy poses. She is always twisting or moving herself in some funny way then checkin to make sure you saw what she accomplished.
