JAPAN TOUR 07'

Japan Tour 11-16th June has ended =(

BUT i hope each and everyone of us learnt alot and enjoyed the time we had together.
Please share this experience with those who didn't go k... we'll be putting up LOADS of photos for you guys!

I know many of us are missing Japan, our roomates, our cool groups, tezukayama high school, rehearsals (esp for the j2s!), meals, LONG bus rides, sleep, plane rides, debrief sessions, universal studios, the fantastic masterclass, shopping, talking...etc.
It has been such a fruitful trip, and i guess the string ensemble has moved up a level now... being bonded both musically and 'socially'. haha.

Remember all those values learnt over the past few debrief sessions? punctuality, accountability, responsibility, discipline, initiative, courtesy, holding doors... etc. I hope we'll be able to practice all these back in Singapore... plus more k! Then we'll be able to leave a legacy for future batches to come. (the j2s will come back and check.. hehehehe =p )

Yupps..
We should thank God for bringing us there and back safely too! and for protecting us and letting us learn so many things in japan.

Anyway, after being abit lor sou, i realised that the term for j2s will be over REAL soon. It has been a tough and long (well...i guess it's pretty short once u think about it) journey for the j2s, but a fruitful one as well.. and we'll be passing down the baton soon(in a month?).
So j1s...it's your turn t0 take over, and welcome the next batch of j1s next year! Think about how you can serve in strings, with the different and unique gifts each of you have. "The more you give, the more you get"... and through my experience... i can say this is so true. If u mentioned that phrase a few years ago... i would have found it too cliched.
yupp so j1s, remember to hand in your forms before 10th july to any com member. and if you have any doubts, please come to any of us!

i'm really gonna miss strings :(
and i know the j2s would also....
but Thank God there's such a thing as alumni!
hahaha.

love you guys,
Ruth

(please post your photos yeah... i've msged your sls the pass and user)
