Dear all ACSI and ACJC String Orchestra members and alumni,

The ACS (I) Chamber Orchestra would like to invite you to take part a
sight reading session of Beethoven's 5th Symphony for a possible joint
performance on the 12th of August, 2006, in celebration of ACS' 120th
anniversary.

The reading will be conducted by Mr. Chan Tze Law and will take place
on Saturday, 6 Aug 2005 from 2 to 5pm at the ACS (I) Music Room I.

OKay. so you read it. now. what DO you think? are your fingers itching to play some pizzicatos? this alumni orchestra is a fantastic opportunity to keep up with all your FRIENDS made from the acjc strings experience! ok that sounds like a cheesy call ad i shall refrain. haha now please think about it and let us(the comm) know when school starts. which is very unfortunately a few days away! :( or :) if you swing that way (whatever makes you happy y'know) ANYWAY this alumni orchestra already has people onboard. i shall not disclose these names to pique yr curiousity yup. haha

getting to where the party is AT

ok there are a few ways to get to my house.
1) Take an mrt to CLEMENTI MRT and meet me there at 5.15 and call me if you're late. (hint)
2) just cab down to 12 Faber Walk (off jalan lempeng)

Strings BBQ

ok this is for everyone who missed out. STRING PARTY on 18th June (Saturday) from 530pm onwards. the basics i will provide so i have arrowed the following sections to bring desserts(the most important part) section leaders PLEAse coordinate with your sections to find out who'll bring what. talk a bout building teamwork ehs? haha hmm ok here it is

1st Violins: Cakes
2nd Violins: Assorted Snacks (e.g. chips n dip, CHOCOLATE)
Violas: Drinks + Ice
Cellos: Icecream
Double Bass: Jelly

ok got it? also this needs everyone's work. i need to know the numbers for the people coming for the bbq so heres what you're going to do. haha section leaders please mass sms everyone in your section to find out who's coming for the party, then tell me or post on this blog here (right here) on how many per section is/are coming. i hear someone saying FINALLY an update! haha ok more on that in the next blog. keep in touch, ya'll!
