Well, since there hasnt been a post the entire year (and im probably to blame), all the events shall be summed up (and hopefully there'll be pictures).
Facebook has proven to have overtaken the role of the blog cause well, photos can be tagged and all. Comments spamming dont need to occur on tagboards. But well, traditions are traditions eh.
Anyway, for the past year, the ACJC string ensemble has gone through our annual camp, Esplanade Concourse, Kronos!, Chinese New Year, Open House and lotsa rehearsals.

Two pictures from Kronos. Cause blogger doesnt upload pictures nicely for me, its rather tough. But anyway, there's a facebook group called the ACJC stringers, so you can join it.

I've been missing strings for the people that are in it. Sometimes days go by without seeing fellow string members and after awhile you find yourself asking where they are and how they're doing.
Trust me when I say that sometimes, strings is the place you find friends whom you never expected to find.
Well I'm no A student, but As are coming (no pun intended) and well, things will get tough. but you know, just persevere and things will be alright.

To the new JC1 committee:
Good luck and we wish you all the best. We'll be here for you as friends if you ever need our help(:
I know this is rather pathetic for a summary on the whole year.
I'm sorry/:

Cold jokes [REPOST]

Came across this post by a senior in this bloggie..
So i'm going to repost it. It's quite funny! very cold though...

"Monday, May 01, 2006

OK then. Instead of practicing GP as so wr(O)ng said, I shall share some cold riddles. Some may have heard of it. AHahha. But anyway, no harm sharing with others who have not! Prepare yourselves.

  1. Cell and bacteria were having a race. Cell lost. So what did the bacteria say to the cell?
  2. How does the man on the moon cut his hair?
  3. Which is the coldest part of your body?
  4. Which is the smartest part of your body?
  5. Which part of the body will be alive forever?
  6. Why can't the bicyucle stand on its own?
  7. Why is the pi3 sai4 (nose poop) so angry all the time?
  8. Why did the bubblegum cross the road?
  9. The neutron went into the bar and asked for a jug of beer. After his drink, he left without paying.

Why?

  1. Cellulose
  2. 'eclipse it
  3. Your eyes. (ice)
  4. Your nose. ('cause he knows it all)
  5. Your liver. (No need for reason I suppose)
  6. It was too tired.
  7. 'cause he keeps getting picked on
  8. 'cause he got stuck on the chicken's foot
  9. 'cause the bartender said, "For you, no charge!"
