not much has happened during the first week of college except that one of my favourite lecturer's wife is in Young KL Singers with me. 'how small can the world be??' Plus i was assigned to be her guardian angel =) [another plus point for the new year!]. They've decided to make Jazz as the main genre for this year's production. mm~ a musical side im really interested in exploring into. "5,6,7,8....all that Jazz" =D hehe we'll see about that.
the night had been kinda slow. Dad left for butterworth this afternoon and we (mom, bro and i) just stayed home. Am suppose to drag myself into bed soon. ERGONOMICS tomorrow!! bleh* just have to run my fingers on the piano one last time before i sleep. toodles~

A good time to relax and think back a year’s worth of happenings.
So much to be thankful for [you. especially]. so much I’ve gone through.
I think I’ve outgrown myself. Slightly more mature I might say. Turning 21 last November was a once in a lifetime moment of joy.
The year was good.

one of my many favourite karen carpenter songs. this time however, i don't quite agree with her. snuggling in bed throughout a rainy monday night had been good. although generally i hate mondays, i woke up this morning to a different 'time of the year'. no, not different side of the bed but to the same familiar sound i hear through my window years ago saying "gel, we have mushrooms!! take the containers!!'"
this is how they look like. I don't really know what you call them but i think they are white button oyster mushrooms. haha... i'm just guessing. anyway, we picked enough to last for a week!! yummy yummy yummy!!
so much for the early excitement, the rest part of the day was a blurr. I participated in an experiment at 11am and subsequently going in and out from frankl lab, to piaget lab then zimbardo lab up till 3pm to participate in psychology experiments. non stop. not even a break for lunch.... only occationally running to the water cooler and muching on m&ms. and all this just to fulfill a 5% extra credit. sheesh*
just came back from choir. really really pumped out*
thankfully, mom kept some mushrooms for me!! *yummy* =D
