i dislike chickenpox!!

fuck the chickenpox to come during this time ! i totally hate it to the core. i cann't go anywhere except staying at home. i can only sleep and sleep and nothing else. it's worse when it occured during chinese new year!! i cann't go out like the rest playing, enjoying and partying!! i cann't go play majhong!! i cann't go to universal studio!! i cann't go all the places i wanted to. i cann't do what i wanted to. And chickenpox is causing me to become so ugly!! i dislike it. i don't know how long it will take for those blisters to vanish, they simply stuck to my face for too long!! hate hate hate!!

WHAT A GREAT CHINESE NEW YEAR TO START WITH !!

My 23rd birthday

Was kinda sick on my birthday actually. Guess i ate too much festive food and bak kwa, thus becoming very heaty. i drank alot of water the day before, so it was pretty much better on 12th feb. Disappointment again & again. Shrucks, forget it then !!

Neverthless, i had a very enjoyable dinner with jane !! she's really a nice friend. she bought me a laptop cooling mat. Was pretty surprised that she did go buy a present. well, it's the sincerity that counts. yeap, we had our fulfilling dinner at the Manhanttan fish market. currently, there's a promotion going for the lobster platter, 1-for-1 for $28.80. Quite worth it and you guys should really go try it ! since it was my birthday, jane was somehow being 'forced' to give me a treat? LOL once again thank u so much and i appreciated it. Had a nice chat with her since we didn't meet up for quite a while already :D

By the way, wanna thank shean as well. i sms-ed her last week. "my birthday is coming soon. are u gonna ask me out?" Guess what's her reply? spontaneously, she wanna buy me a dinner. so we went for Sakura on monday night at admiralty park. oh ya, she had quite a good appetite!! she loves durian puff and the cheesy prawn !! hahas she's another great friend as well.


Met up with my gay friend after that. Frequent Helipad for our very 1st time. Not too bad. :D


And lastly, thanks everyone for their birthday greetings !! missy jo even rang me up in the midnight just to wish me happy birthday. huiyu, one who'll never fail to sms me once a year at midnight as well. And also one funny sms from wanyi " 达浪 达浪 达浪! *imagine the pink panther dance. Haha! Happy birthday to you, 宝珠姐! " Thank you everyone !! :D

Last but not least, i bought myself a small present few days back. it's was a hairdryer actually. it was kind of randomness. still, i like it !!

A talk by Jimmy Koh

i am a member of SIM Economics Society since last year after my lecturer kept asking us to sign up for a lunch seminar. And today i went for another lunch talk again. it's free anyway, with buffet lunch, so why not? LOL but this talk by Jimmy Koh, Vice President, Head of Economics-Treasury Research at United Overseas Bank (UOB) was quite enlightening actually. he mainly talked about the crisis last year was the result of the failure of the shadow part of the banking industry, that consisted high weightage on derivatives. Get to know things more explicitly.

And one thing i learnt from this talk is we need not be clever to have a good future, we need not be from any good university as well, most importantly we need to be different from the rest. we must know where's our niche at. our niche would be something that we can do it easily without putting in much effort. By realising it then we can outperform the rest and be someone influential. :D

By the way, i didn't know KFC got egg tarts for breakfast!! i must try it soon!!

CNY is coming !!

Last sunday was the last episode for 海派甜心 and as expected it would always be happy ending for idol dramas. Neverthless i still caught it 'live' at 10pm sharp. i learnt a meaningful phrase from that final episode, that is "喜欢可以很多人, 可是爱只有一个". Rainie Yang shall always be the one i love !! :D

Chinese New Year is approaching in less than 2 weeks. not much excitement about it though. Should i get myself some new clothes?? Festive season gonna make me fat soon !! i have been eating the nuts recently. i love eating 开心果 coz it makes me happy !! :) crunchy & yummy !!
