31st Dec

The clock struck twelve and it's 31st December 2009, the last day of 2009. Indeed time flies and another year is going to be over within 24 hours. Got lots of ups and downs for this year, it can really be a so-called fruitful year as i experienced numerous of stuffs, regardless it's good or bad. Most importantly is to learn from these experiences.

Just want to have few resolution for 2010.

1. At least 2 A's out of my 4 modules in year 2.

2. Be happy always.

3. Get rich.

Happened to Log into friendster these few days, as i already stopped using friendster and i even deleted my photos in there as well. I went to take a look at my "testimonials" from the past. as i read through them, it brought back some memories and somehow i felt very emotional. And i screenshot some of them to upload here for those who didn't add me in friendster. Some are funny as well, and i'll definitely cherish the friendships that have been going on for these few years. Good luck to you guys out there and have an enjoyable time counting down ! :)

101st post

Merry X'mas everyone !! Hope everyone enjoyed to the fullest !! Been busy for the past week except today. supposedly meeting up with jo today, but she had a family dinner last minute. let me recap what i have done for the whole week..

19th and 20th dec - was busy working as usual, so it equals no life. :(

21st dec - Went to catch Avatar 3D with alvin after school. it was a great movie indeed. i like the storyline, showing the cruelty of mankind on one side and the love of human beings on the other. there are nice wonderful exotic sceneries in the other planet, not sure because of the 3D effects, and a romance story between a man and a Na'vi. Enjoyed the almost 3hours show. :)

22nd dec - Met up with a old jc friend, edwin. He's still the same old edwin. hahas helped him to search for a new backpack. always nice to catch up with close friend like him. and i caught a picture of him. he's single and available. he's definitely a good guy, fit and smart sportman. who's interested?

Went to clarke quay at night to have dinner with my bunch of army peeps, coz one is heading to finland for exchange! Had bak tuk teh as usual. Needless to say, drinking at ktv pub followed. had a nice time drinking, as i haven't been drinking for almost 2 months plus. Attended are as followed, siming, jianliang, pengjun, jonathan, weemeng, anthony, bernard, zhonghua, ian and me! :D

23rd dec - Missed out my s13 dinner gathering. so sorry about it !! Went to party with my sim friends at night. the Q at butter factory was horrendous on ladie's night. Not going there any sooner. went to Dbl O instead. my 1st time there. don't even know what the genre of the music there, CMI music that's all i know. But we got free drinks !! an enjoyable night, though didn't drink much at all compared to the previous night. 4 babes 3 dudes - fiona, weilin, jacinth, carolyn, vuksin, zhonglun and ME..

24th dec - Had a x'mas lunch with my shooting club. A jap restaurant at Shaw Lido. Attendance list - peiyu, chunrui, wanyi, sharon, alvin, wenxin, andrew and me. a nice catch-up since few months back. everyone is busy with each own stuffs, everyone has grown up !! And apology to beitris and kenneth to cause the meet-up to be cancelled, catch up asap?? =)

25th dec - At home slacking, resting, and catching movies online. Lonely but it's nice at times.

My 100th post

I had a practicum on monday. it's kind of a practical test u got to pass in order to become a relief teacher for the tution centre i am currently working at now. i never taught before and yesterday i had to teach in front of a class of 10 students. it's full of anxiety actually. well, according to Goffman's impression management, i need to present myself in such a way that i am confident enough and able to teach a class. In the dramaturgical approach, i am the "performer", the students are my audience, my preparation for the worksheet as my props, i presented myself as a good teacher to guide them through the worksheet, and in return, they respected me as a teacher by participating in my lesson and remained well-behaved. I did it and it was really not bad, a very very good experience and the tester was quite satisfied as well. cheers !!

This is actually my 100th post man!! it's quite unbelievable that i can maintain this blog for one year plus and hope i still can keep it going. i'll definitely try my very best to update regularly. what is blog? blog is an online diary that you can choose to open it to all your friends and others to know how you have been doing, what you are doing recently and pour out all sort of emotions regardless good or bad. diary is supposed to write out your real feelings hidden deepest in your heart, but not much people can truthfully write out their awkwardness, shamelessness, embarrassment and all sorts of detrimental feelings.

Right here today, i am going to blog about my real confession, nothing but the truth, though it will affect me quite negatively. i would like to tell everyone that i am not a good guy actually. do u believe it? we shall see from below.

Few years back during my jc time, i got the habit to go online and know girls. well, i can say that it was my sort of 桃花 period. when i was in J1, i knew a girl from irc called joanne, she's one year older than me. she's from nyjc in her 2nd year. somehow we clicked and we chatted on the phone almost every night. and we became closer and became online couple because we have not met each other yet. i remembered it was near the end of the year because she's busy preparing for her A's level. though she's very busy with her studies, she still cares a lot for me. it's really nice to have that feeling when someone is so concerned for you. As she's one year older than me, it's sort of 姐弟恋. she's very sweet toward me and i am also somehow fond of her, so we decided to meet after her examinations. that was our first date and it turned out to be the last one as well. i met her in orchard for lunch and then a christmas movie. she didn't turned out to be the same as what i had been perceiving from her pictures. she was abit plump during that time. (for here i need to tell you guys, i somehow discriminate over-weighted girls.) and i cann't stand a plump girl to be my girlfriend, because i cared alot for my image. i am definitely as high self-monitor, someone that cares really alot about his appearance, behaviour and characteristics. we finished our movie and i sent her home, didn't say much of these stuffs till i was on the way home. she knew i don't like plump girls. she told me that she has been dieting and jogging for that period after we knew each other. she got a weak liver and cannot exercise too much, but still she went exercising for me!!! but i was just simply too immature at that time. before this, we exchanged christmas present, i told her i like personalised gift. she recorded a disc of love songs specially for me, her 1st time doing this and also drew a drawing of us together. i still kept them intact till now. it was really sweet of her, but i don't know why i am so stupid, so foolish, so cruel, so cold-hearted to let her down. she went for united state for one year plus just because of this incident. i knew i really hurt her a lot. now she has already slimmed down to be a beauty and got her career as well. i tried to contact her back few months back, but she already changed her mobile number. i got her address in orchard area, not sure if she's still living there. should i go look for her one day in december and sincerely apologise to her? i am really a bad guy indeed.


After her, i got to know another girl from irc as well. she's called esther at that time. she was 14 while i were 18 during jc time. i actually went out with a 14 year old girl, can u believe it !!! she's sort of those ah lian type actually, so i weren't serious with her throughout that 2 months. we went out shopping, eating, ton-ing out at night. it was very enjoyable with her as she always acted cute and cheered me up. well, as she was only 14, she got some attitude problem, and soon we broke up and she went into a girl's home after that. currently, she's out and good wishes for her. told you guys i am really bad, to even play around with a 14 year old girl.


Got another girlfriend from tp after that, but it didn't last long as well. perhaps the problem really lie within me. from then till now, i am always been single, but perhaps flirting around? definitely it's flirts, that's why i didn't tell much people about it. in army time, i liked a girl. i thought i stand quite a chance in wooing her actually, but i don't know what screwed up in the end as well. perhaps this is a karma for me because i really hurted some girls in the past, and that's why if time can turn back, i would definitely go back to jc time and salvage the situation.

End of my confession!! so have you guys concluded me as a bad guy? would u still like to befriend me? if you decided not to, do tell me and tag at my cbox, i am alright with it. :)

Been pretty packed over the last week coz having ICT. it's so fast that i have already cleared my 2nd ICT. it's kind of a gathering with those army friends, chit-chatting and catching up with each other. 2 agendas for this ICT, combat shoot and IPPT. had fun shooting with my mates, slacking at the range, buying snacks from the ninja van, that's how time passed during the combat shoot. sad thing is i failed my ippt. :( i am still lazy to train for my chin-up, really gotta buck up on it, 2 more months left for me to clear it. i dun wan RT !!

Managed to go school for some lectures during the ICT week, so it's not that bad, didn't miss out much. But really got to start studying soon. shall force myself to start revising from 2010. that shall be one of my resolution! :)

Bought a bag for myself !

X'mas is still pretty long, coming in 1 month time, and yet i have already pampered myself with an advanced christmas present. it's actually a 3-ways multi laptop bag, can be used as a tote bag, sling bag or even as a backpack. it's imported from korea, cool right? so i doubt it would be a common bag in singapore. any comments for this bag my dear friends?? hahas so from next week onward, i would be carrying this new bag to school, can dump away my old ugly bag. :)

Let me introduce you guys 2 new taiwan idol drama series. one is 海派甜心 by rainie yang and the other one is 桃花小妹 by cyndi wang. :) a brief intro about the storyline of both series as below. Do catch it because it'll definitely make you laughs and cheer you up!!

Indeed it is. and the name for it is called the prawn who got creamed!! lol funny name. but the way the picture taken is nice? of course, because it's taken by me. :) And with a glass of minty chocolate milkshake makes the day issn't it? it's supposed to cost around $30 for both the drink and spaghetti, but we had the student promo, which cost $13 for these in the end. Really worth it and somemore, it's not paid by me. :) free lunch for me when someone is late. Talk so much, and you guys may think i went out with a gal, nope with a guy actually. hahas.

Guess it's time to update abit? Been rather busy with studies and work recently. Life is getting so dull these few weeks, lucky i m out to town to catch a movie "My sister's keeper" with karen. Quite a nice movie with a touching storyline. I bet some girls would tear when watching. :) it's always nice to catch movie at cathay with UOB card hahas!! yesterday was halloween. i am sure most of my friends are out partying and enjoying. But how about me?? i was fast asleep at 1030pm after work, since nobody asked me out last night. it's alright, because i not been sleeping well for the past few nights, and i really had a good rest last night. I slept all the way from 1030pm to 10am in the morning. Anyway, talking about halloween, many people knew about the halloween specials at the night safari right? how many of you guys went? i saw quite a number of my friends went from the facebook pictures. For me, i went to0!! that was great. it was on 16 oct, a friday night. Lucky that i did not need work tt particular day, and shean was nice enough to accompany me even though she was sick. we enjoyed ourselves there as that was the 1st time to safari for both of us. The price was quite steep actually, as there's not much stuffs to see. it's all black at night, didn't manage to see much creatures at night. hmmm, but the halloween specials was not bad. the tram of terror was scary!! it scared quite a number of people on the tram as you won't know when and where the "ghostS" will pop out from. i was busy taking photos of them actually!! hahas but too bad the pictures weren't uploaded yet. shean was still so busy till today!! And oh yea, i like the picture taken by the staff there!! it's real nice nice!! will upload it when i have it. yeap really nice to go out with shean and her LX 3 camera, hope we are meeting up soon then! Caught too fast too furious, the proposal and 17 again few days back. these movies been out for quite awhile, just that i don't have the chance to watch them in the cinema, so no choice but to download and watch at home. it's great to watch on a day when there's no school and no work. so relaxing.. both the proposal and 17 again are nice, but i prefer 17 again!! how i wish i can turn back time again, and i will sure cherish it.. i really really wish i can turn back time just for once, even sacrificing 10 years of my lifespan.


anyway, i bought a textbook for macroeconomics !! And this is my 1st time buying textbook for my studies in UOL, coz the study guide for macroeconomics is damn pathetic, not much info inside, so hopefully the investment in this Oliver Blanchard textbook is worth it. Macroeconomics is real tough, no joke, totally different from what i have been perceiving last year and i hope i can understand it with the help of my lecturer and this book!! :)

"Time heals all wounds." how true is this statement? everyone always mention it when something not good occurs. for example, you are ditched by your boyfriend and people come and console you saying time heals all wounds. Scenario 1: 10 years later, you are still single and your ex-boyfriend has a girlfriend and they are spending their lives happily. then are you sure you will be okay when see such situation? are you sure time heals all wounds? or your wounds are pricked and deepened this time? Scenario 2: 10 years later, you are still single and your ex-boyfriend has married with his wife and has a cute baby of theirs as well. Does time heals your wounds? does your wounds still hurt? Scenario 3: 5 years later, you meet a guy that is much nicer than your ex-boyfriend and you fall in love with him and decides to marry him. so is it time have heal all wounds? In fact, theoretically time does not heal all wounds at all. it's simply nonsense and it's not proven scientifically at all. It's the events that happened within the 10 years, not the 10 years time that heal your wounds. it's that your ex-boyfriend has married a woman and given birth to a baby which makes you give up totally and thus you have no choice and find another guy to fall in love with. therefore, time is not a factor in conclusion.

my 1st esap lecture !!

well, i attended my very first ESAP, element of social and applied psychology lecture today. it seems abit interesting somehow. hmmm.. social psychology is the study of how the thoughts, feelings and behaviours of individuals are influenced by the actual, imagined or implied presence of others. And the core aspects of social psychology are these three, cognition, affects and behaviour. Taking smoking as an example, cognition will explain why some pick up smoking. some youngsters think that smoking look cool. Affects is about feelings, for example some smoke because of stress or insecurity. Last but not least, behaviour is about actions. you are the only one among your friend that don't smoke, and slowly you will be influenced by their actions and try smoking as well. hahas ain't i smart? Awaiting for my next week esap lecture again!

my school holiday gonna end soon, in 1 week time. i am taking corporate finance, macroeconomics, management mathematics and elements of social and applied psychology this year, hopefully i can cope with ease. it has been months since i finished my exam in mid-may. wow that is around 4 months. alot of stuffs actually happened in these 4 months.

And i think i am liking customer service after working in a call centre, i appreciate excellent customer services from others, especially from DBS. i like their attitude, their ways of serving customers and the politeness of them! superb !! :)

school reopening, meaning gotta pay course fees again.. guess the amount ? 4.7K !! where the hell am i gonna dig out 4.7K from my pocket, no choice but to pay through instalment by citibank. this imply that i need to pay 392 bucks monthly for 12 months. life without money real sucks ! Gotta scrimp for the next few months and hopefully i gets some part time job or tutions !

should i sell my phone and get another one? this phone has been with me for almost a year, don't really bear to because it's a 8mp camera phone, and i know if i gonna change a phone, the one i gonna get is definitely not a 8mp camera phone. should i or should not ??

my army batch, siming, chris, pengjun, jonathan, weemeng, bernard, alex and ian are all currently attached. the number has been increasing throughout the year and when is it gonna be my turn? i think it's hard. somehow i have already forgotten what is love seriously.

bought a $99 printer at comex 09!

OMG i went clubbing again this week. this time round i went on thursday, as usual enter for free again. hahas it was super quiet when we went around 10 plus. zhencong and his friends joined in that night. And it's butter factory again!! Actually, don't feel like going at all, well beitris is leaving for UK soon, so club with her for one last time. yeap nice knowing her, nt really a bad girl though she clubs often? hahas.. Went Jalan Kayu for prata and it's my 1st time going there. the prata there wasn't that fascinating though. i still think the prata below my house is still nicer and yummy!! Anyway, wanna wish beitris all the best for her law studies in UK, study hard and don't club so much over there. (wonder if you will read my blog? lol)

Caught Blood Ties on Fri afternoon. it's a local production, so didn't pin much hope on it. the actions were not very great, just has a good plot and storyline telling us about an eye for an eye!!

Comex 09 is here again! Hard to resist the temptation if you were to walk the whole convention centre one round. After much hestitation, zhonglun, boonleng and me bought a $99 start buy printer each with a free audio technica headphone!! overall, i still think it's quite worth it. No harm buying a printer, i can print stuffs anytime when i want next time. It's quite funny actually that all 3 of us bought the same model printer and imagine 3 guys dragging the printer on the trolley from suntec, to citylink mall and to mrt station. Have an enjoyable day afterall. =)

1st time going ladies nite !

Oh ya, i finally got my results back !! not too bad, i got 50 for PBF, 53 for econs, 76 for stats, 88 for maths and 68 for POA. meaning i got a 2nd upper on average, but i still gotta work hard for the next 2 years in order to maintain my 2nd upper !! GAMBATTE !! :)

Been slacking for the whole week. nothing much for me to do after ending my job at CPF. Went to watch Final Destination 3D!! My 1st time watching 3D movie, it's just a normal movie actually, not really that nice. And i remembered a scene where the champagne is opened, and the cork pop up, then someone in front of me shouted!! hahas it's damn funny for this.. btw, the movie is abit gore and you can get to see lots of internal organs, dont watch if u cannot take it !! :)

Wednesday is Ladies' night and it's my 1st time going club on a wed night as well. All i can say it's a bad experience to go Butter Factory on ladies night. it sucks totally. Waited damn long just to get in, and all the time is used on wait and wait !! Neverthless, saw a couple of friends there. cheng wee, my sec sch fren whom i never met for years, mr poh, my army junior who's currently studying in UOL as well. and lastly, joanna, a pretty girl. Lucky that we entered as VIP, and it saved us 28 bucks each!! hahas :)

Went to Heeren and tried the Shokudo. if you tried marche before, it's around the same concept, Shokudo shares the similar concept of having several cooking stations under one roof, charge cards and themed dining, but with japanese cuisine instead. Caught I love you Beth Cooper today, nice comedy and i like beth cooper to0!! she's sweet-looking and hot.. i suppose every guy would agree with me yea?

it's monday !!

bo0!! it's a monday, but i am not having any monday blues coz i just ended my work last friday. time indeed flies fast when i am working there. 2 months working there, neither long nor short, but it's really a nice experience working at a call centre. Learnt alot of stuffs about CPF, gst offset package, workfare income supplement scheme, sme rebate and cpf life !! i have access to the whole singapore 4 million people database!! i can check the details of every single singaporean, but we are not allowed to do so, as it would be a violation of IT security. anyway, i remembered it wasn't easy at the 1st place. picking up calls which you would never know what they going to ask about, learning to read the system that is totally stranger to you. luckily there's a nice colleague i am attached to. Despite asking her again and again, my mentor, filzah taught me patiently and she's a nice lady. yup beside her, there's still another friend that is worth making of, he's sunil.
