We started off the month with a quick weekend trip to Las Vegas with the Gardners because Jeff and Alex had tickets to watch BYU basketball play in WCC tournament. We started driving "home" but really drove south towards Disneyland, wondering how long it would take our kids to discover we weren't actually driving towards Utah. Nobody said anything until we got to the produce check well past the California border. Surprise! We spent one day at Disneyland and had the best time. We are really good at packing as much into the day as possible so at the end of the day all of us are completely worn out. Just as it should be. We love Disneyland!
I ran into my sweet friend and neighbor, Haley!
Brynne made us this plate at school. It turned out so cute!
Savannah just being her usual adorable self.
We had some relatively warm days in the middle of March, so we started getting some yard things done. I cleaned up the deck lights that I hadn't hung well, put in better hooks and got the lights back up.
Alex convinced Jeff Isom to come help put in the basketball hoop. All the kids wanted a chance to jump in the hole before we cemented it in.
Cooper was so excited to go to work with Daddy one day. He even brought his own computer bag with some things to do.
Tyson had an extra tooth growing in so we had to get it pulled. Shark tooth!!
Cindy and Chad moved from Eagle Mountain to Lehi and the kids love playing in their cool basement playhouse!
The basketball hoop up and ready to be played with!
We decided to mount our tv above the fireplace to maximize space in our family room. I had to find a way to hide the cords, so the internet to the rescue! I used this idea I saw and created a pretty grid with hidden channels to feed the cords through.
Alex left for Shanghai, China. We hate when he leaves but he had a great, successful trip.
While he was gone we ate Sunday dinner on the deck!
And I completely painted and redid the guest room, which now feels like a relaxing place to be. I love how it turned out.
After losing my mantel decorating space because of the tv, I needed somewhere else to display things, so I built these floating shelves in my family room. They've been put to good use!
