it can't be saturday already ...

Hey all ! I returned from my little trip to the mountains yesterday afternoon , however I can't say that I was refreshed more like exhausted . We left early thursday morning headed toward the mountains . We couldn't check in to our room until around 4pm so we stopped to have a nice long breakfast then we shopped . I thought my feet were going to fall off . I am not big in the shopping department . Sometimes I like to shop but most times I go in , get what I need or find what I am looking for then I am outta there . Finally we get to check into our room and after we took our luggage in we just sat and chatted for about an hour then we hit the hot tub . The hot tub was outside and it was 50 something degrees out there but the hot tub was set on 104. It was awesome to sit in that hot bubbly water while the cold wind blew around us and cold , cold rain would sprinkle down on us every once in a while . After the hot tub we went back up to take our showers and go have dinner . My head had started hurting earlier in the day and I was trying to just ignore it and pray that it would pass . It didn't pass . We went to Red Lobster and I couldn't eat because my head was hurting so bad that I was feeling real queasy in my stomach and it hurt to open my eyes . I had already taken two sinus headache pills then I took to advils and over dinner my friend says that she thinks a massage might help , so she massages my neck and shoulders in the restaurant . The massage worked wonders , I could feel the headache leaving me . After about an hour my headache was gone . Yesterday morning I had planned on sleeping late but the couple in the room beside us had better ideas . Who wants to play Brian McKnight and Luther Vandrose at 8 in the morning so they can score ? The people beside us did . We finally had to call the front desk and ask them to turn the music down and by that time I was fully awake .

Wow ! It really is saturday isn't it ? Tonight is our Christmas play at church and I am so nervous . I do not look forward to singing in front of all of those people . I know all of my lines and my movements but that singing part has me all in a tizzy ! If you are a person who prays then please pray that I will not mess up while singing . If you are not a person who prays then please cross your fingers and send up good thoughts for me . I will do another post in the next day or two to let you know how the play goes .
