Life has lots of cross-road that we, as individual, have to take a step back, reflect and decide which path we need to follow through. It could be a decision on your financial, education, career path or even finding a soul mate. At times, we could back-track and chose the right path, and at times, we couldn't and have to move along the wave of life, whether eventually we stay a float or drowned.
Although I could not say that I have always make the right moves, I could at least say that I have tried my very best and at most times never regretting my decisions (Wife would be laughing her head off with my understatement.....hehehehe).
Right now, I'm at another cross-road where I am currently reflecting my options and deliberating on what to do next. On one hand, I would love to continue my study but on the other hand, I have to fulfill my obligation as a family man and provide financial securities and a roof over our heads. I cant do both due to financial constraints and I cant do one after the other as it would take a very long time. Patience I have, None!
People asked, if I had decided yet... Well, the truth is Yes...! 70% of me says to fulfill my obligation and 30% of me say to further my study. My reasoning is that, with these tough financial situation we are in, I believed being in an independent cohesive happy family and working hard rather than be debt-ridden, (staying with the parents and in-laws..hehehe) and an uncertainty of landing a good paying job is a better prospect for me.......
This time, the heart over rules the head.... But I am known to be fickle minded...hahaha May God bless me with any decisions I made... Amin!

At a Cross-road of Life...
Life has lots of cross-road that we, as individual, have to take a step back, reflect and decide which path we need to follow through. It could be a decision on your financial, education, career path or even finding a soul mate. Me and my neighbourhood kakis went for a night movie yesterday at Cineleisure. It had been a long while since I had gone an all night outing with my buddies although wifey would have me think otherwise. She always do. (The weekly evening till mid-night soccer and lepaking with buddies does not count as outing..... : p )
Anyway we watched Watchmen and it was crap.... The story plot was lame, the castings were horrible and the graphics/Visual suspected. It was like watching Batman and Robin in the 90s. Seriously. How could a B-Grade movies, with B-Grade actor/actress (I don't even know who they are) became an A-Grader and take a slice of the box office takings in the process. It's absolutely atrocious. The only good thing that came out of the movie was that for $7.50, I could actually seat in the movie for 2hrs 40 mins, enjoying the air-con and comfy chair. Oooh yah, and also the sexual scene (although it was not a mouth watering full scene... *Damn you producer.. Damn you I say!*)
Anyway went out of the movie, all of us unsatisfied. We vowed with a vengeance that we would return and watch a better movie......
So now where the hell did I place CASE address... I want to complain and get a refund..
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" but when I'm pissed, the hell and everyone else listen..........hahahaha

Nowadays sitting in the office, while the boss is not around, would just read the paper or just surf the net, at every opportunity counting down the time to go home and at the same time acting busy so that others would not suspect that I am just slacking around doing nothing (to prevent others from giving me more work to do... :)) That is itself a very hard thing to replicate..........
That's the downside of doing things way too quickly...... You end up being bored to death..... And I am always jinx when it comes to me and the bosses.... Most time when I went out, they would be looking for me and asking where I went, but when I'm in the office, nobody came looking for me........... Darn! I need new challenges man..!!!!!! I'm bored..................................................
The only challenge now is for me to defend against those dreaded German invasions, killing each and every one of them at every single opportunity and defending my home country, Holland. At times, I, being the saviour of the world, with every ounce of my strength and wisdom, tried single-handedly defend mankind from the invasion by the ugliest-meanest looking aliens from world destruction..... Having friends like Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Kaka, Ronaldinho etc etc does not hurt either as together we would win the Champions League, Premier League and World Cup year after year and get rich and famous..........
Ooooooh if you still have not noticed and still think highly of me, sorry to disappoint. It's just my beloved xbox 360 games but it does stimulate my brain cells from falling into a comatose state.
Darn you Germans! Darn you aliens! Darn you Liverpool and Chelsea fans................ I'm just bored....... *sigh*

Office Hours...... Boring Stuff.........

although itz a wee bit late... we would like to wish all our chinese fwens a happy new year.
so how did you spend your 2 days holiday?? the family n i went to genting for a 2D1N stay. it was a short stay n not much was done.. bt fun nonetheless...
the trip started on the 26th @ 6 am. drove dwn to tamp to pick up the aunt, uncle n couziez.... all 9 of us squeezed into 2 cars. w the parents in dad's n the youngsters in ours. with walkie-talkies in hand for communication... we headed off to the causeway....
we finally reached genting @ 1pm n got lost on our way to the hotel... none of us... of the 9 of us saw the sign tht said Awana Genting n bth cars drove past it... *sigh* after a loooong u-turn we finally checked in @ the hotel @ 1.30pm.
unfortunately the rooms were nt ready yet so we chucked our bags in the rooms n made our way up to genting via cable car after a wee stop fr lunch.
genting itself was fun.. considering tht the weather was hazy n fr half of the time the kids couldn't get onto any rides.... we settled fr watching inkheart instead. the hubs n i managed to surprise the rest of thm by purchasing tickets fr the osim massage chair seats. the parents n couzies n sis were estatic.... no rides... bt @ least they got a 1hr 45 min massage. hahahaha.....
by the time we got out of the theatre..... the weather cleared up enough fr thm to get on the Spiderman ride.... followed by the haunted house tour. i opted out as i was starting to feel the strain... sides.. they wldn't have let me into the rides neways.... hehehe.... the day ended with dinner @ Kenny Rogers n a cable ride n bus ride to the hotel. by 1.30 am it was lights out fr me.
27th started out a bit later fr us... knock on the door @ 8.20 am brought me out of bed. the couzies were @ the door ready to go fr breakfast... since there were only 4 breakfast coupons me, the sis n couzies were the only ones who got to enjoy the buffet. checked out of the hotel @ 12pm..... n we made our way back to s'pore...
finally back @ hm.... @ 11.30 pm.... lights out by 12.10 am. n i realised tdy tht i nt only came back home w memories bt also a slight flu n headache.... hahahaha....
all in all it was a wonderful trip.... if we do do it another tym.... we shld opt fr more thn a 2d1n trip....

Genting Trip
although itz a wee bit late... we would like to wish all our chinese fwens a happy new year.so how did you spend your 2 days holiday?? the family n i went to genting for a 2D1N stay. it was a short stay n not much was done.. bt fun nonetheless...

Happy New Year!! Gosh it's already 2009.... how time flies..
Had a pretty eventful last week of 2008... since i am on bulk leave this week... spent sunday with the hubs... celebrating my b'day... again a fairly simple celebration....
lunch @ Eighteen Chefs was good... followed by a wlk ard CS & TM... & i had my coffee ice-cream frm Haagen Das. A wee stop home before we were off to Vivo fr a movie date...
Spent Monday with the mum & sis.... first was my massage appt @ Bedok North before the mum's massage appt @ Bedok Reservoir... a brief stop home again before the hubs & i along with the parents made our way Parkway Parade fr a bit of shopping...
Tuesday was spent with the husband again this time to Dwntwn East for another small bid of shopping..... thn dinner @ Rasa21....
Yesterday was spent with the besties for a blated bday celebration.... Lunch @ Swensons. A wonderful voucher gift frm the besties.. allowing me to shop my fill..... & a VCD date with the sis...
Tdy was spent with the hubs again... a visit to his fwen's plc to take a peek @ his newly born son. cuteness in a bundle... dinner @ Eighteen Chefs yet again..
as usual no pics frm me as i m tooo lazy nowadays to take some neways... heh. before i leave...

Happy 2009
