THE RIGHT BLOG

Some Bloggers, me included have several blogs. So when it comes to comments you sometimes have  to do hard and time consuming investigations to find out on which Blog the Blogger wrote for this meme or published pictures.

To make it more complicated when you want to comment you first land on a Google+ page. From there you have to do researches to find the Google+ Blogger's Blog.

You go into "About" on the Google+ page and when you are lucky the Blogger Blog's link is mentioned unfortunately not always. So as a non Google+ member I can't comment and I don't want to be a member.

And then it gets complicated when the Blogger has up to 7 or sometimes 9 blogs ! Which one is the right one ?

When you have time you open the first one only to realize that the blog had never been used. The next one dated from 2006, then followed by others from other years and long forgotten. If you are lucky you find the right Blog where the meme is posted. You feel like Sherlock Holmes after a busy day.

Here are two examples :

Step 1

Step 2

Now tell me on which one do I have to comment ????

Wouldn't it be easier to give the right link to the right Blog in the beginning and also mention it on the Google+ thing ?

A is for ABC Wednesday - AGAIN!

AMAZING! I don't believe that the initial ADMIRAL of this ADVENTURE, Denise Nesbitt, would have ASSUMED that ABC Wednesday would be still going seven and a half years later!

For ALL you newbies, we have a set of rules, but this is the gist of it:

*Each week, there is an APPOINTED letter. This week is A, next week is B, etc.

*You AUTHOR a blog post; it could be an ARTICLE, some ART, ALMOST ANYTHING. The post should include a link to ABC Wednesday's URL ADDRESS, as well as clear ARTICULATION how it meets that week's topic (A is for APPLE, et al.) Feel free to ACCESS the current ACCOUTERMENT on your blog.

*You enter the specific link to your blog post in that Linky ACCESSORY. For instance, my post this week will be http://www.rogerogreen.com/2015/01/13/a-is-for-apostrophes/- A is for Apostrophe. If I just enter my main page URL - http://www.rogerogreen.com - it'll be harder for visitors to find the specific post, now and especially in the future.

*At least one ASSOCIATE from the ABC Wednesday team, and ASSUREDLY other people, will visit your post and leave comments.

*Try and ACCESS at least 5 other participants either before or after your listing, or randomly, or people you like, or people you don't know. Comment on their posts. It's ARITHMETIC: the more sites you do visit, the more comments you will probably get.

*We retain the right to ABROGATE overly commercial links, or folks who don't ACKNOWLEDGE ABC Wednesday. We really ABHOR doing that; we ALWAYS feel AWFUL about doing it. But we want to be fair to those who do ABIDE by the rules.

If you have any questions about this, ACCESS me at RogerOGreen (at) Gmail (dot) com.

Z for Zachariah

Zachariah was a prophet and the father of John The Baptist.
His wife was the Righteous Elizabeth, it was thought that she was unable to bear children.
One day when Zachariah was in the temple an angel of the Lord appeared before him
and told him that his aged wife would bear a son who "will be great in the sight of the
Lord (Luke 1 : 15) and will go before him in the spirit and power of Elias" (Luke 1:17).
The prophet doubted that this prediction would come true and for his weakness of faith
he was punished by becoming mute.
When Elizabeth gave birth to a son, through the inspiration
of the holy spirit, she announced that his name was John, although no one in their family
had this name.
When Zachariah was asked he wrote down the name of John on a tablet..
Immediately the gift of speech was returned to him, and inspired by the holy spirit he
began to prophesy about his son as the forerunner of the Lord.
.
King Herod knew about John's unusual birth, fearing that he was the foretold King of the Jews he ordered
the killing of all the boys born about that time.
When Elizabeth heard this she hid herself and the infant in the hills, The murderers searched
everywhere for John to no avail.
When they were getting near to Elizabeth she implored God for their safety, and immediately the hill opened up and concealed her and the infant from their pursuers.

During these tragic days St Zachariah was taking services in the temple when Herod's soldiers slaughtered him because he wouldn't conceal the whereabouts of his son.
Elizabeth died forty days after her husband and St. John, preserved by the Lord, dwelt in the wilderness until the day of his appearance to the nation of Israel.
It was said that he existed on honey and locust. He eventually went on to be known as John the Baptist and baptised Jesus but there lies another wondrous story.
Jesus being baptised by John the Baptist,

My thanks to Denise and Roger and all the helpers for keeping the ZESTY ABCW going from strength to strength!
Happy New Year to all the ABCW friends
Di. xx
