Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from our Ninja, a couple of pirates, Mickey Mouse, and a girl
who takes after her mother.
It's always fun to have friends over to carve pumpkins.  We invited our neighbors, Surbi and Abbhi and the sister missionaries who serve in our ward, sister Kendrick and Moulton.

Quick Trip in Maryland

Sadly after a long drive to Maryland, I only had a couple of days to spend there visiting.  So we made the most of our time.  We decided to check out the Baltimore Harbor for the afternoon.  The traffic part reminded me a lot of San Francisco.  They had 4 or 5 different ships or vessels parked in the harbor that you could tour.  It was really neat to go onto the sub and imagine what it must be like for Jeremy who is currently out on a sub.  All of us decided we couldn't do it.  We know it is difficult for Jeremy too and so we pray for him often while he is on a sub.  After visiting Baltimore we just hung out and relaxed, it was a nice visit.

Drive Across America...Are you crazy??

We had such a fun week visiting with Ang, Lucy and Kya.  I hate it when they have to go home.  Ang wasn't feeling that great, so we decided I should help her drive home.  Oh man, I don't even know how she drove the 45hrs alone, because sharing it was a challenge.  I was so impressed with Kya and Lucy, they earned the passenger of the year award for sure.  They never complained and just kept busy the whole time.  I have never driven across the United States, it was actually very interesting.  I had no idea how much corn and soy actually grows in our country, geez louise, it was everywhere.  When we reached Pennsylvania, we were surrounded by beautiful fall colors.  I was so grateful we made it to Maryland safely.

Soccer Time

It's so much fun watching Brody play soccer.  He absolutely loves this game and knows how to play it well.

Mud Run?

We live right across the street from a peach orchard.  After they harvest the peaches, you can go through and gather whatever produce is left on the ground or on the trees.  I decided to take the kids with me, little did we know they had just recently watered.  We were forced to jump over some huge mud piles and from the looks of our shoes, we didn't always clear the piles.  We laughed a lot and had a good time getting all muddy.  Unfortunately we didn't actually come home with very many peaches.

Happy 13th Birthday Kelci

We had such a fun time celebrating Kelci turning 13.  We started with dinner at Costa Vida, of course, and then had a photo scavenger hunt with all her friends at the park.  We broke up into 3 groups and had a blast trying to cross things off the list we needed to take pictures of.  Still can't believe we found a kid at the park that had hair like Justin Bieber....yes that was one of the things on the list.  The girls were to shy to ask him to take a picture with them, so I did it.  Mema made penguin cupakes that were a big hit.  Happy Birthday Kelci!

Back to School

Well here we go again....the kids keep getting older.  It's still surreal to have them back in Yuba City attending where they attended school before.  But what is even more crazy is Emery starting high school.  We always said the kids would never be Honkers....looks like we should stop saying never.  Here's a to a great school year!

Selfie Time

I love that my girls have iPhone's and we get to share an apple account.  That means I get to see all the selfies they take.  I love that my children love each other and love spending time with each other

Lake Tahoe Time

Also a favorite family trip.  This is our 14th year going to Lake Tahoe as a family.  We stayed at an amazing condo right on the Lake.  We spent a lot of time playing cards, playing at the beach, and just hanging out with lots of family.  It was a great couple of days!
