McKay turned 5! I really can't believe I have a 5 year old. I love my sensitive, loyal, funny, sweet, easy going 5 year old so much. He wanted footy pajamas and a camping party. He had a joint party with his friend, Scotty who has a birthday a day apart. We invited some of his friends over and set up the tent in the backyard and had some camping snacks. He was in heaven! Camping is his thing lately. He is excited to be 5 because he can "carry heavy rocks now." He is a pretty low maintenance little man. He is a helpful big brother, loves riding his bike, asking lots of questions, reading, and playing violin. My mommy heart is so full. I can't believe I held newborn McKay 5 years ago!!
