More wedding pics!!

My aunt Patti took some great pics at the wedding and I just wanted to post some of them. Bry is still mad that the nieces hugged me first when we came out of the temple. (As you can see that he is pulling Rachel's hair, tryin to get some love.) The first time we went to his sister's house for dinner and it was time to leave, Rachel and Brie told Bryan that he could leave but that I had to stay. Bry knew it was all downhill from there.

CPR certified and future Nurse

Don't Worry guys, I can now save your life. After taking a 5 hour course with no break, I have now performed CPR on a mannequin a gazillion times. Does this mean I will be able to perform it on a real person in a stressful situation? I sure hope so. I just hope I don't catch a disease from performing mouth to mouth on the mannequin.

My first few weeks at Ameritech nursing school have been great. Most of my teachers are very educated and very passionate about nursing. It's also very refreshing to attend Ameritech because it is a lot different from the "bubble" at BYU. I feel a little intimidated though because most of the people in my class have been working as CNAs for many years. I've heard you can get your CNA liscence in a week, so even though its tough work, I kind of want to do that so I can have the experience before I work as an RN. I guess it'll make me appreciate it even more when I am a nurse.

I have been kind of nervous because Ameritech's nursing program is newer and I've heard rumors that I could have a harder time finding a job, but I just talked to my friend's mom and she graduated from Ameritech last June. She said that I would have no problem finding a job and that she is making $35 an hour with just her associates from ameritech. So, there you go! Its pretty cool because there are people of all ages in my class (even a grandma!) who have wanted to be nurses since they were little and finally have an opportunity. So if anyone has had a lifelong dream of being a nurse, here is your chance!

Happy Birthday Bryan

I'm putting these up a little late, but here are some pics from Bry's birthday....
I got him some hair clippers...so we can save lots of money on future. We have been trying to live frugally, So we decided to get cash for all of our expenses on food, date, and other misc expenses. We put them into envelopes. This sounded like a great idea. However the only problem was that we lost one of the envelopes which had $80 in it. I don't think we will be using that method anymore.

Bry gave himself a sweet hair cut the other day. He is a natural, I don't even know why there are cosmetologists (I am using this term only because my hair school friends get mad at me if I don't.)

This was my first time making lasagna. Bryan loved it. But, Bryan loves all food, so I don't know if that is saying much.
And the cake!! (his favorite is lemon meringue pie, but his sister, Beth made it the day before, and it was amazing, so I was off the hook.)I snagged some BYU football tickets for his B-day as well. This was the first year that we both don't have all sports passes, and it has been kind of sad. It was way fun to go to a game, but it was freezing. Luckily we both were bundled up. Bryan made sure that I was dressed very warm, because somehow I always seem to be 10 degrees colder than him.
