Toad Suck Daze

You know you live in Arkansas when your big outdoor festival is named after a neighboring town, Toad Suck.  The first weekend of May, this town turns into a toad fest--everything toad!

Our first toad, named Toady naturally.  He was a strong toad, but escaped his box on his 3rd day.  We thought he must have headed downtown to hangout with the other toads.  Our second attempt to bring our own racing toad was a toad we rescued from our pool skimmer.  Well, that toad unfortunately died and we had to have a funeral.  Brady still talks about Toady in heaven.

This pic is my cellphone screensaver--wish I could bottle up his excitement.  He is holding his toad, waiting to race it.

Brady, Brad and Coop getting ready at the starting line.  They hopped a good race, but didn't make the finals.

Margaritaville

Perfect weather for our preparty tailgating before my first ever Jimmy Buffett concert.  It was a great day -- I think nearly all of Conway was there.

Coop's 1st sleepover

A complete surprise on Coop's birthday night was to bring Tanner home to spend the night.  This was our first sleepover and it was a success.

The only day ever that Camille let me put her hair in piggie tails.  That only lasted for 42 seconds

A sweet friend, April, celebrated her 40th birthday this Spring by having a western family style party at a Bachacres Ranch.  It was a sweet idea and a fun afternoon.  Brady was my special date that day.

Love this picture of a group of the kids watching the horses in the arena.
