Jonesboro daytrip
We stopped at Edmund's house. Our boy's had just gotten their summer burrs--very evident next to E's curls. The kids had a blast playing with all of his toys. I enjoyed getting to visit with Rachel and finally seeing her home.

Moving Day
Our move was peaceful, I think mostly because it was the right move. But that doesn't mean that the move wasn't a little bit hectic. I started packing boxes in August, one at a time. I wanted to be able to go through all of our stuff and start out fresh at our new home. The day before the movers arrived, I was at work and became very nauseated. I kept thinking maybe the nausea was from anxiety or nerves, except I wasn't nervous....then....it was obvious...I had the stomach bug! I had to cancel clinic and go home to lay down. Not great timing to say the least, but thank goodness for Adrienne, who let my kids hang out at her house. I mustered up some life (and Zofran) and Brad & I packed the kitchen. Fun times.
The next morning the movers were arriving and I opened Camille's door...and about fell over--she had gotten my bug and had gotten sick ALL OVER (her bedding, the crib, the floor). Wow! That was fun, especially since all of our cleaning stuff was packed. HA!
I digress from mentioning how the movers showed up 4 hours late, then they were too tired to unload the moving truck that night. I will mention that Brad had to go to WalMart to buy new undies, shirt, shorts, socks just to have clothes. Then the next day, a weekend of call (more fun times). Oh, and then Brad got fever and was in the bed for 18 hours. Thanks to Victoria for staying the night since I was on call. And thanks to Lana for making my house pretty quickly and making sure all the beds were assembled quickly. And Joan for lining my drawers (and creating a new obsession of mine). And Adrienne and Riley for unpacking my kitchen.
A little hectic, but well worth it. We really feel at home.
