We got together for a cookout at the Cooks.  You would have thought Camille had the same wardrobe as Caroline and Carter, but the shorts were hand-me down and the shirt from Target--just random coincidence

My sweet Brady had an ear infection and was asleep on the couch with fever.  Brad got cozy and tired after eating lunch.

End of School Year Madness

Tanner & Coop at May Madness at Marguerite Vann,  basically a 6 hour water celebration at the end of the school year.

I volunteered at one of the activity stations in the morning and brought Brady to May Madness for the afternoon to enjoy it with Cooper.

Brady's graduation from Montessori.  It is held at Laurel Park and I just love how proud he is, while holding his certificate upside down:)

The beginning of summer was also the end of baseball.  Coach Monte was giving a post game pep talk to the Marlins. Brady is in the red shirt with Coop just behind him.

We always see the most interesting nature at the cabin.   These caterpillars were everywhere and the turned into beautiful butterfly or moth thing.

This is at the Hatchery, which has become one of my favorite places to visit.  It is where they hatch the baby trout then release them into the river once they are bigger.

Batter up Brady

Brady played tball this year.  He was on the Padres team and got to play with his buddy Parker.  Wow, was it hot at those fields!  He was soooo excited to play.  He would wake up and be fully dressed in uniform as soon as the sun came up.  On the top picture, notice him wearing batting gloves.  They were about two sizes too big, but he made certain he had these on.  He chose his number two on his jersey after a sweet boy named Gabe that played on Cooper's baseball team.

Toad Suck Daze

You know you live in Arkansas when your big outdoor festival is named after a neighboring town, Toad Suck.  The first weekend of May, this town turns into a toad fest--everything toad!

Our first toad, named Toady naturally.  He was a strong toad, but escaped his box on his 3rd day.  We thought he must have headed downtown to hangout with the other toads.  Our second attempt to bring our own racing toad was a toad we rescued from our pool skimmer.  Well, that toad unfortunately died and we had to have a funeral.  Brady still talks about Toady in heaven.
