Egg Hunt and Chocolate Bunnies

The Easter Bunny Arrives!

Just before heading to church, the kids enjoyed their baskets. They couldn't believe I even let them eat a ring pop during church (It was genius b/c they sat perfectly still)

The night before, Camille was hoping she could see the bunny herself.

Now I know why she thought she saw the bunny

Pure Blackmail photo in a few years

This is a pic of the boys putting out carrots for the Easter Bunny. Brady made his ears at school and they actually held up well. The boys were so excited about the EB coming; we had even seen his scouts in our backyard the week before...hopping by just to make certain everyone was well behaved!

Getting ready for Easter

The boys had fun decorating Easter eggs while Camille supervised. Cooper actually had the focus and patience to not turn all of his eggs brown by dipping them in every color. Brady still needed encouragement:) ***********************************

Brady had an Easter party at preschool and I was able to snap a pic of him with his best friends, Parker and Barrett

The kids were supposed to have decorated an Easter bonnet at home and bring to the school party. He was adament he only wanted to wear the yellow bunny ears (seen on the table next to allof the elaborate easter hats) I'm sure his teachers thought I forgot, but I was just following instructions.

A visitor from around the world...

One of my childhood besties (that makes us sound old to say "childhood", but that is the truth, we have been friends since 8th grade....then college roomies...) Rachel drove up with her momma & my momma from Louisiana to visit for a Sunday afternoon. You may wonder...how is that a visitor from around the world....well she had flown in from Amsterdam, which is where she currently lives.

*************************
Even though her "address" is Amsterdam, her postman doesn't recognize this very well....the picture above is the boys hand delivering our Christmas card to her. I had mailed it in December and it randomly was "returned to sender" about three days before she came to visit!

After the boys warmed up to our special guests, Cooper busted out some redneck stuff to remind Rachel of her roots. He actually won this shotgun at a church benefit. You might be a redneck if...

Camille just loved Rae and Miss Tess; we enjoyed just sitting on the front and back porches watching the kids run around. The weather was gorgeous and I treated them to a lunch of an Arkansas original....bunko buns.

Rae treated me to some cute kitchen towels with windmills on them and the most unbelievable cookies and Amsterdam's heavenly version of peanut butter. I am aware that there are drugs that are legal in that country, but I'm not sure those treats should be on the open market....I would eat my weight in them if I had access to them. And what in the heck is Brady doing in the background of this picture???

Funny stuff

Brady made this puppet at preschool. He was so proud of it and I couldn't tell him enough that it looks just like Daddy!

This was a letter that Cooper wrote a school to a leprechaun. It melts my heart. Interpretation "Do you wear baby diapers? Do you have a pet stingray? How do you build? Why do you wear green?"

Miss Priss wearing one of my favorite outfits and holding a matching toothbrush. That girl is obsessed with toothbrushes. I have to hide them from her!
