Finally, I'm a soccer mom!

Cooper and Brady started soccer this year (we intended to last year but Coop's leg delayed us--so that is why I titled this post "finally") They are truly enjoying it--no nerves at all. In the picture above depicts Coop's most favorite defense move...sliding down onto the ground to block the ball. It works good to stop the ball, but then he can't advance the ball after that. I think he did that move 6 times this last game.

Getting ready to kick the ball--he has scored 4 goals so far! Of course the games are for fun and not for winning or losing, but Cooper keeps a close score--cracks me up that he has competitive drive this early.
Cracks me up b/c when he is concentrating, he will have his mouth open -- just like his daddy!
Coop's biggest fan....Brady "watching" the game. Brady's team has only practiced once so far b/c of predictable rainy Mondays. Stay tuned for pics from his game coming soon!

The boys with their daddy. Love those 3!

The girls! (Do you notice the boys running in the background? They acted like they had been imprisoned for weeks--they went crazy running in the fields--even left there with grass stains on their pants!)
WE ARE BLESSED!!!

Throw me sumthin mista

We took the boys to their first Mardi Gras parade this year and we had a blast. These pics were after we got home and inspected the loot. Camille has been cracking me up putting about 10 necklaces at a time and walking around, then sadly tripping herself.

We met Lauren and Graydon and her family in Shreveport--they have a great reserved spot right on the parade route. We had a ton of munchies and even a firepit--which was much needed b/c it was frigid. We were not prepared and had to go and buy all new jackets, gloves, socks (oh well, at least it was on clearance)

It was a great weekend but we were exhausted. Hopefully we can make this a tradition:)

Happy 6th Coop Dawg

What a great day we had to celebrate Cooper's Bday! This first pic was actually the last pic of his special day; I had already tucked him in bed and realized I didn't get a picture of him so I turned the lights on real quick and snapped a quick pic:)

He woke up with these sweet notes from Victoria (she came up with the idea of giving the kids a card with how many quarters to equal how old they are -- super cute)
and a list from his Daddy...listing all the things that Coop loves!
And the grand finale, from me, his Angry Bird bday cake. All three of the boys at our house loved shooting the sling shot.

This little freckle faced boy is getting big very quickly. I still try to carry him from his bed to the breakfast table b/c I know soon enough either I won't be able to carry him (or he won't want me too) He is still quite the comedian and just loves kindegarten. He is a great big brother. He is sensitive like his Daddy. He is playing soccer and loving it. He is addicted to video games and the supreme negotiator tries constantly to squeeze in some extra video time:) He is also taking piano lessons, which he seems to be doing well, but I'm having to kinda learn to help him practice....and it is difficult like learning a new language. LOVE YA COOOPER!

My 3 Cupids

This is the best Valentine's shot I could get of all three kiddos--they are just sooo busy right now (maybe so busy that I can hardly sit down to blog)

Sweet Millie would only pose b/c I let her hold the basketball (at least it matched their outfit)
I'm guessing Brady forgot I had the camera for a split second.
Caught Cooper enjoying his ring pop!

Cupid woke us up with sweet smiles and a busy morning with school parties for both boys. They had Robot valentine boxes and LOVED all the goodies they got from their friends. Brad surprised me with roses and then we enjoyed a fabulous meal at Oak Street Bistro.
