Blast off!

Grandma and Grandpa came up for the boys' bday party. We had their party at Big Ben's in Vilonia with a rocket ship theme. The boys were trying to decide on what "theme" they wanted and Brady suggested a water theme --and we could send home a bottle of water as the party favor; Cooper suggested and alcohol theme--each kid could get germ-x. Too nerdy for me so "we" chose rocket ship (since Grandpa was headed to see the last space shuttle mission) and even ordered astronaut ice cream for party favors. (the freeze dried ice cream was delayed by that crazy snowstorm so now we will give those as our thankyous)

The sign outside "mission control" at Big Ben's. The rooms were huge with alot of seating (and clean)

I thought the cake was out of this world cute. The kids loved it and the most requested piece was to eat the flames!

Miss Victoria kept baby sister occupied (thank goodness)

The best present of all.....Jude....Coop's bff from preschool (and by default Brady thinks it is his bff also) They have not stopped talking about Jude since the party.

Jude, Brady, Colton, JT, Bennett and Lizzy...

Either Jackson or Jude in the maze.

Parker and Brady on the train

After the party we ate with the Nash crew at the Big Ben's restaurant.

A very tired 4 year old...it's tiring being an astronaut!

Ms. Katelyn

We recently had a weekend visit from our former neighbors, Amy and Katelyn (who Brad still refers to as KayQuinn b/c that was how Cooper used to pronounce it). We had a relaxed time and Brad and Ms. Katelyn even babysat our three so me and Amy could do some downtown Heber shopping.
The reason I am referring to Katelyn with the title "Ms." is because she is such the little teacher in charge. She would get the boys books and tell them, "Cooper read this and then you and Brady will trade books." Totally cracked me up--Brady loved being bossed around and Coop just kinda ignored it. Might just be a preview to what kind of wife they will choose!

The HAT

All is right in the world now. Terry has commandeered Brad's LSU chef hat for the last six years. He always puts it on and wears it constantly. For Christmas, Allison made Terry his very own Kentucky chef hat.

It runs in the family b/c we caught Ross sleeping on our couch with THE HAT!

This was the BIG REVEAL. It was just hilarious, b/c apparently he wanted to call us as soon as he opened the gift at Christmas. But the family persuaded him to wait and reveal THE HAT at New Years. The funny part was that he almost forgot about it and on our last night there, he jumps up in a panic and had to run back to his cabin for THE HAT.

Ringing in the New Year Hudnall Style

We had a visit from our Louisiana cousins...this pic is actually taken on the morning they were leaving. We had a great time as we always do with this crew.

Uncle Mike and Matthew watching a game, while the other wild ones did a good job trying to distract them.

The Glam Clan--Ellie, Katie, Mary Paige

Camille spent alot of her holiday sitting on Wiggy's bed. Since he couldn't rest, Wiggy decided to join in on the party.

Aunt Genia always gets the best gifts....checkout the complete LSU gear including shoulder pads and helmets.

Future linebacker

Famous Quote: "Somebody needs to open this; I can't open champagne bottles or biscuit cans" Is she a good ol' Southern girl or what?......

Speaking of Southern Girls, Miss Mary Maige caught her very first trout. Uncle Brad and Uncle Mike helped all the Hudnalls' get a catch. The boys went fishing first and Mary got evicted off the dock, b/c she would get so excited if she saw a fish she would squeal and jump. I calmed her down and explained the rules of fishing and she eased her way back down there and snagged a trout!

We love all the cousins! Can't wait to see yall soon.

Happy MLK Day!

This is how I found my 3 munchkins on the morning of MLK Day. When I asked Coop why he was missing school that day, he quickly responded, "it is some guy's birthday in heaven. i think he was nice."

Winter Wipeout 2011

We have had 3 days of snow, which has resulted in 2 missed school days. These pics were taken on the first magical morning of our winter wonderland. We even made snow icecream which was a first for me. The snow was too fluffy for us to build a real snowman, but that night the boys insisted on saying goodnight to their snowman. Insisting and insisting, I gave in and let them "say goodnight" to the snowman. I finally insisted that they show me this "snowman" that they were blowing kisses to and waving. Brady says, "That triangle of snow right there".....seriously it was a triangle shaped pile of snow about as tall as a soda can. But I guess it was the best snowman ever b/c they had made it with their daddy.

Our first toothfairy visit

Cooper lost his first tooth this month which was quite eventful at the Johnson household. Brad couldn't even be in the same room. I was in the same room, but couldn't participate at all. I guess I forgot that teeth are connected by a real root that has a blood vessel in it----YUK! Well, the sweet boy wiggled the tooth out with a kleenex. He was so proud for about a minute, then he wanted me to put the tooth back in place. He said, "I don't want to look crazy, like a crazy looking animal that is missing teeth" (I'm not certain which animals he is referring to)

***********
The tooth fairy visited that night, but had to leave money for Cooper and Brady. You see, Brady has had 3 major collisions with his front tooth recently and it is very loose and even appears to have a dead nerve. When Cooper was wiggling his tooth out, I caught Brady with a kleenex trying to wiggle out his loose tooth. We had to negotiate quickly that the tooth fairy said she would leave $ for siblings that don't wiggle their teeth out before kindegarten. The tooth fairy needs a raise to keep up with this household!

Brady Boo is 4!!!

Wow...it is just so hard to believe that Brady turned four years old last week. He is such an interesting person to me. I can't label him "the middle child" quite yet--I would call him "the unique child". We often joke that Brady lives on Brady Planet and we certainly wish we could get tickets to visit sometime b/c it certainly appears to be alot of fun.

He LOVES his big brother. They are best friends and are just stuck together as much as possible. He goes to preschool in the mornings and can barely rest b/c he is longing for Cooper to get home. He has actually really started interacting with Camille also and is very protective of her.He is known by anyone outside of our home as a sweet, quiet, polite, a bit shy. At home, he is a jokester, bossy, independent and not very quiet.
4444
He wakes up and wants to drink chocolate milk, but may change his mind 3 times about the way he insists it is made. He also LOVES to drink "astronaut juice" aka Tang. He thinks the miralax powder he takes is magic powder. He LOVES his "blue my" blankie and needs it every night to sleep (but only needs it at home, not anywhere else) He can't sit still to eat--He must get up at least 10 times during a meal--when he is sitting only one-sixteenth of his body is on the chair. He will try most anything offered to eat:)
4444
He changes clothes like he changes his mind about chocolate milk. Don't even bother choosing his outfit or pajamas--he will try about 4 different on before settling. We have nicknamed him Liberaci b/c of all the wardrobe changes.
4444
He attends speech therapy that we refer to as "lessons". He has made lots of progress but we are still missing s,sh,f, sl. For example, our favorite NFL team is the "Yaints". He said, "our lamily leeps in the guet bedroom". His speech therapist told me he may be one of the most polite, empathic and sweetest children she has ever been around. :)
4444
He loves his baths, riding his jeep, riding his bike, playing mario on his ds.
4444
Some of the funny things he has said recently:
While drinking Sprite, "This is picy" (spicy).
"How do yuperheroes ly?" (superheroes fly)
"Why don't bears wear yous?" (shoes)....referring to the term bare feet
444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444
On his birthday morning, I was waking him up, whispering, "Happy Birthday, Brady, you are four"; his eyes still shut, but smiling, said "For weal, I'm four?"

LOVE YOU BRADY BOO!
