Snow is pretty...BUT

IT RUINS EVERYTHING!!!!!

Ok, not everything, just our plans to go home for the weekend. I was looking forward to helping Ally get ready for Jr. Prom and seeing family and talking about the waterslide party etc.

Dumb snow. We're in a fight.

At least I get to wear my sweet boots.

I'm still bugged.

Going Home...

For the LONG weekend!!

I SO love Monday holidays. I think we should celebrate more of them... especially during the school year. Just my opinion though. My mom came up this week to do some special shopping with me. I'll post pictures 'n stuff when I have more news to report.

Fun Weekend

This weekend Britt and I attended the BYU basketball game vs. Utah,

it was SUPER fun (and I'm not saying that sarcastically).

My dad has season tickets, but since he couldn't make it up here this time,

he kindly bequeathed them to us, and we gratefully accepted.

Here are some pictures I managed to snap with my phone camera

(I don't know why, but I can't seem to remember to bring my normal camera when I have these kind of kodak opportunities):

Britt and I need to be better about showing our "Cougar Pride"

with our apparel, but both of us want a sweet Jimmer shirt

and neither of us have had time to really look.

This was our view of the court, it was pretty legit.

I'm not sure you can tell from my low resolution phone camera

photo, but if you look close enough you can see Mr. Jimmer

on the right.

I try not to get too involved with rivalries or being a crazy fan of anything,

but it's hard not to catch the Jimmer fever when you go see him play,

plus the crowd has the funniest signs about being "Jimmered" etc.

Britt and I kept finding hilarious Jimmer signs to laugh at.

Besides the Jimmer-ness, BYU has some amazing players that make up a really unified

team. Britt saw Abouo on campus the other day and was totally starstruck,

I got a signature from Davies and Emery the last game we attended

(and a picture with Emery to make Ally jealous, she has a SERIOUS love for Jackson),

and I was trying not to be starstruck.

Anywhoo... the game was AWESOME, so much fun to go

and cheer loud like a crazy fan.

White Shades and an Update

I promised a bunch of peeps that I would update

them on all the exciting new happenings with

me and a cute boy, and I haven't been

very vigilant in doing so....

I also haven't been very good about

taking pictures often, even though I decided

I wanted to take more pictures.

Here's what I've got:

So after Britt and I both moved up to northern Utah

we had to come home that next weekend

to do some vehicle switching.

On the way home we encountered some very uncomfortable

sunlight.

So Britton whipped out his fancy white sunglasses

and we tried to dodge the sun from our eyes.

I wanted to give the white shades a try,

they were pretty legit.

I don't know what my neck is doing.

Then my cute boyfriend wanted his shades back,

you know, so he wouldn't kill us...

and so he could see to drive.

I gave them back, maybe a little reluctantly,

and stopped pestering him with pictures

(not without a little 'tude though)

I'm pretty sure this is a huge exaggeration of the story

I don't really remember it,

but it was fun to embellish.

**As far as updates go...

We're both working hard at school,

trying to stay focused enough to study,

and planning a HUGE water slide party

in June!!

It's February Already?

Wow, time is flying.

I'm trying to stay focused on school,

so the blog gets to take a back seat.

It'll get more attention when I remember

to take some pictures of something

worth documenting...

or just when I remember

to take pictures. At all.
