So Much Fun

Here's a happy face Aunt Linde!
We are continuing to have so much fun this summer. Tuesday Avery met Adelaide and Casen 2 of his future BFF's, and their mommies Leah and Annalee. We also really enjoyed Camry and Pow, and their Mommies Maddie and Tiffany, but our pictures of them didn't turn out. We had a blast catching up with my college roommates, my how times flies when you are having fun. Some days I feel like it was yesterday and others, that it was a lifetime ago. I am so thankful for the sweet girls that helped me have so much fun at 802 Washington!
Last night we all got a little culture courtesy of our friend Abby Leonard. Abby has been one of my best friends since high school. We are having so much fun since she is spending the summer with us. She has been so fun to watch the Bachelorette and explore Marshall's with and is also reminding us to enjoy all the fun our city has to offer. So, we met her and our friend Kim, also from high school, Kim's friend Slim Jim and Abby's friend Daniel for an outdoor concert. It was great!
As I type this I am again reminded of how much I have enjoyed all of the different stages of life, once I got past middle school of course. I am so thankful for the great friends I made and continue to enjoy in high school and college, and I continue to enjoy making friends here in this stage of our life.

Thank Goodness

If you know me well, you know about Popples. Saturday Avery was having a moment. I had tried all the usual entertainment and he wasn't interested. So I decided to be the bigger person and let him cry on one of my favorite shoulders to cry on. THANK goodness he didn't like it, I really didn't want to share! And yes, I did rescue him after I found the camera and took his picture. :)
Have a great day!

Summer is Here!

It is very late, but here is Avery's 2 month picture. He weighed in at 9lb. 9 ounces and was 23 inches long. The Dr. reassured me he wasn't too small and would catch up, but I told him we were impressed this was big progress for our early start.
Avery and Aunt Linde has a hot date at the pool. He looked super cute in his swimming suit, sun hat and shades. We even had a matching passy to ensure a fun time at the pool. Nothing says summer to our family like fun in the water and baseball!!! We got to go see Katie play and she did so great! She had 2 hits and her coach said she has the most natural swing on the whole team, we were so proud of her.
David was a rockstar blast ball player, too. We are hoping he will show Avery the ropes in a few years.
I went to the movies on Saturday and Avery and Michael had male bonding. It was so cute to come home and see them playing on a blanket outside. It is a good thing you have 2 parents, I never would have thought to do that.
