Mimi and Pops Visit

Mimi and Pops came to our house the day after Christmas!

We had so much fun . . .

Playing my new Angry Birds Game

Here comes the red bird

Playing with my new ROCKET and space station.

And oh wow, another racetrack!

It is called "Criss-cross Crash!"

We had a lot of fun playing with my racetracks.

We also played a lot of BINGO!

I loved getting the balls and calling the letters and numbers on them!

Mimi and Pops were able to stay a few days . . . I played even more Angry Birds . . .

I love my daddy.
We have lots of laughs together.

To play angry birds: First - set up the castle with the pigs.

Second: Get angry!

Third: Get the sling-shot ready!

Fourth: Pretend you used the sling-shot and hurl the bird toward the castle and pigs.

Fifth: Don't lose your focus! Keep on track so you can . . .

Sixth: CRASH the pigs! (See the pile at the end of the table on the right?)

Merry Christmas!

It is Christmas Eve!

We just got home from church.

Now we will light our menorah for Hanukkah.

Let's read the Christmas story from the Bible and put out all the manger pieces.

And then off to bed for tomorrow is Christmas Day . . .

What to my wondering eyes should appear?

"Just what I was hoping for - a Hot Wheels race track!"

It was a while before I wanted to open my stocking but once I did, I found lots of exciting things: cars, play-dough, a magnifying glass . . .

What else is in here?

Numbers and letters!

Eventually, I decided to unwrap my other presents. I love my new Children's A to Z Encyclopedia, CDs, and side-walk chalk.

I had a lot of fun using the magnifying glass to look at pictures in my encyclopedia.

After church we talked to Granddaddy and Grammy on skype. And we opened more presents. Look at this amazing flashlight they gave daddy!

Check out these trucks!
Thank you Grammy and Granddaddy for these and for all the other presents!

Hello? Is anyone in the "ring of fire?"

A NEW Stepp

Welcome baby Ryan Payton Stepp, my cousin! He was born early this morning (just after midnight). Ryan, my Aunt Karrie, and Uncle Jake are all well - tired, but well.

We are so excited!

Myriad

Do you know about these? You light the candles and the fan spins which makes the angles spin and the bells ring. This one came from my great grandmother's house. Momma remembers it from Christmases when she was a little girl. I am having a lot of fun watching and listening to it - oh and doing experiments (did you know it will work with only one candle lit?).

THIS, my friends, is the Ladybug Game! If you do not have this game, you need it! I play it most days. Often multiple times in a day! Kathleen and Anne gave it to me - it was one of Anne's favorite games, too. Thank you, friends.

Have I told you about Charlie? He is Elyse's new puppy. He is so cute! Daddy found these post-it notes with pictures of puppies and got them for me. When I saw them, I said, "Look, it's Charlie." I drew a picture of Charlie on the paper, as you see.

And this is a drawing I did of a kangaroo!

Puppy was reading signs as we drove. He is a very good dog. Smart, too.

Do you know about earphones? I recently saw my Momma's iPod and I wanted to know all about it which meant learning about earphones - they are amazing!

I like to listen to music.

Isn't this manger scene amazing? Ann, Reagan and the big boys gave it to me. It came in a book with the Christmas story. I am loving moving everyone around. The camels are my favorites.

My other favorite game right now is ZINGO! Thank you, Mimi and Pops for sending me this game! It is a lot like Bingo only more fun. You can see the boards by my feet.

Speaking of feet . . . did you notice my "Times New Roman 3?"
