Hostles....Enjoyment

I have never seen a student life in hostels, when I came here to US it was so fun with group cooking, joking, films, peppy talks. It was so nice. But later on only realized that though everyone talks and chats, we all are on our own. Its in our hands to see what is good for us and what is bad for us. As well enjoying some people do their work too but some fail in that and just enjoy. Its where they go wrong. They just think life stops there but it doesn’t. I feel that being on our own gives us the added responsibility to match our skills and also to enjoy. We need to be smart, and think enjoyment alone will not guide u. Once time lost is lost. So hostels can make o break our career, its in our hand to see how good it is.

Assingnments - part 2

After my first week in the land of opportunities, life started rolling but there were bombs to come along. I have this subject in my school called algorithmic aspects of telecommunication networks. It deals with graphs flow control etc. After the first week the prof came and said this your project has been put up in web, please check out and the deadline is next week. My god! I was shocked, when I went and saw the project it just said implement this algorithm in any programming language of your choice. Shell shocked I started working for the project. It took me 3 days to figure out what the algorithm is even and den I started coding in java. The two days before the submission deadline, I dint sleep even a bit and after all the patch up works at the last I submitted the project just at the stroke of the deadline. I had a sigh of relief. Life what I dreamt and came is not the way here. it works the other way round. Hopefully I can come out well.

Straight from the carrington road - Rio talks the mood of the dresing room

Recently Rio Ferdinand was quizzed about the mood of the dressing room and the each players life style and the way the integrate themselves wit the team. Rio was seen egotistic with him being the best of the lot, in a lighter sense though. He came with this retort for the question thrown to him

The Best trainer: Scholesy. a good passer and his team always wins in training.

The Worst trainer: Wes (Brown) or Wazza (Rooney) . themselves for the prem.

Fittest member: Wazza or Ronnie. both are explosive players and can run at the same pace in the last minute as the they do in first.

Outrageous skill: Very Obvious… Ronnie. Nani tries hard. Ronnie wins Hands down.

Toughest tackler: Wazza, Vida and Scholesy. Maybe they don’t like their team-mates (lol).

Person who play out of position? No, the manager doesn’t let us. I used to play up front in training. But now stopped, think am terrorizing the defenders.

Sly Joker in the dressing room: The sly is really got to be Fletch. we never suspect him, but when something’s going on he is usually involved. Pique and Fletch are always at the centre of pranks with player’s clothes.

Intelligent player of the squad: Edwin.

Member you'd hate to have in your quiz team: God!!.. really its Ando (Anderson). He joined the club at the same time as Nani, Ando’s English is shocking. Nani holds television interviews in English and Anderson struggles to hold a conversation with the lads.

Best dressed in the team: Ronnie. He doesn’t just wake up, go into his wardrobe and throw something on. He tries really hard. Every day his clothes are a planned event.

Worst dressed in the team : Kuszczak! purely for the blue electric shirt he wore one night out . shocking!!. one of the worst colors I’ve ever seen. The most craziest thing is, he’d said saved it just for that occasion.

Best dressing room music: Mine. iPod has the greatest variety of music. there’s a mixture there. Some of the young lads don’t appreciate old Hacienda house music genre. Evra get s involved in selecting dressing room music. But he doesn’t have the variety and depth of music knowledge .

Aamir plays the prank....

Aamir Khan and his gang of friends were heading towards cinema hall to catch up for a movie. The gang had to stop in between for the passing group of people. The group also didn't want to stay long as they were getting late for a movie and at any cost they didn't want to miss the credits in the beginning. Incidently Aamir didn't react to it; he was cool munching BISCUITS and having an eye on the entire happening.

Suddenly Aamir gets an idea and the prankster Aamir comes up with an amusing stratagem to get hold of the situation. Aamir and his friends made people around them believe that they were carrying a huge sheet of glass so they needed space to move. The crowd, who earlier didn't allow them to move, now parted way for them and later after crossing Aamir laughs and reveals the prank and runs off to the cinema.

All these were shot in front of the camera for parle biscuits portraying a subtle comedy nature of Aamir.

Anuksha to pair with King...

The Great news in the tinsel town is the new pair who is set to star opposite with the King Khan is the Teenager Anuksha Sharma. The most awaited film of the year "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" which is directed by Akash Chopra after a hiatus of eight years was trying to spot the heroine with a Punjabi look for the film. The grapevine was that there were three ladies in for the running among the one was the "Saawariya" starer Sonam Kapoor.

Akash Chopra even asked SRK to pick one of the three girls as his heroine, but the Baadshah had refused to do so, claiming he was “uncomfortable” in pick and choose matters. But the role has now gone to Begalorean girl Anushka, who is a regular ramp model for last few years and has also done ad campaigns for Whisper, Silk n’ Shine, and Fiat Palio.

Albeit she has no acting experience, the Chopras feel Anushka is best for the role of a Punjabi girl in the film. The film is set to go on the floors in mid May.The Chopras are eyeing a yearend release for the film.

Will Anuksha follow the likes of Deepika Paukone and march on to the center stage of the Bollywood…? Only Time will tell.
