InstaLife- So much more than just Albums

The Instalife line from CTMH has quickly soared to the top of my favorite list. Not only are the albums super cute and affordable- That album above will be a class in January for just $28! Be sure to go take a look at the whole line by clicking here.
So this week I have lots of things to show you using the Instalife line. To start off with the cards make great additions to tags. The 2x2 size is a perfect fit to a tag and with just a few extra scraps of paper, stamps and embellishments you have a unique project. The picture of this one below is not great, but it was on the way out the door and I snapped a couple of pictures with my phone.
I used the Enjoy 2x2 card to make a fun tag for this birthday gift.

I am trying to get a little head start on a few things. I have a very special book group that I love and I make them something every year at the holidays. These will be great to tape to the gift sack so they know it's homemade.

  I added more tags to my little collection! Using up a few of the stickers from Seaside and some bits of scrap paper.

Tags, Tags, Tags!

 By the time the end of the month gets here I am down to just a few small bits of pattern paper. These are great for tags. I love to have tags on hand for little gifts of even to add to the front of a card. My current favorite is to tape them with washi tape to the front of a treat bags.
I also really like the look of all the tags together in this little container, its so cute sitting on my desk.

Tag Set

 I put together a fun set of stamped tags with a few bags, twine, clips and bag seals. All packaged up with a fun bag topper. I can't wait to give this away at my next class as a door prize!

Gift Giving Series: Muffin Tag

I am calling this week my Gift Giving Series. I am going to show you some simple project you can make that will sure to please anyone! Some are simple like this gift tag that I tied around a muffin. All they way up to a more complex project of mini cards and handmade napkins. So stay turned this week for more ideas.

Felt Heart Muslin Tags

This week I have been working on some special gifts for Valentine's Day and I wanted to make some tags for the sacks that could be used as decor as well. These tags are on heavy muslin that I covered with gesso- I then blanket stitched some heavy wool on them. I used some buttons from my great-grandmother's button jar for the flower centers.

Tin of Tags

 

One more of the MANY projects I made using the Chalkboard paper with this tin of tags. I wanted to create some tags that could be added to a birthday package that would make the reciepant feel special! What I did was leave a space between HAPPY and BIRTHDAY so I can write a number like 15th or 41st!!

After I made those I just couldn't stop- I added some assorted twine on some mini wooden spools, a piece of chalk and a few other items like ribbon and washi tape!

 

Home Sweet Home

 This tag was inspired by this tag over at the Fabulously Artsy blog. I used the great February stamp of the month. After I stamped the sentiment I used a marker to lightly trace the word sweet-making it pop out!

Gift Tag

The January Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart is a great one for those of use who like to color. The great flower images on the stamp have the perfect amount of shading to make coloring easy. This simple gift tag uses one of the Journaling Tags
