Halloween Parties

I love Halloween! I am extra excited because this year is Avery's first Halloween. We decided to have some family parties to celebrate. Thank you for everyone that could make it. We had a lot of fun and hope that you did too.

These were miniture carmel apples, I hope that they were good. I don't know for sure since I can't eat them:( I got the idea from www.familyfun.com

I was pretty proud of my cupcakes. The chocolate were originally supposed to be witches hats, but they looked nothing like them, so I had to improvise. I thought that the mummy's turned out cute. I they were soy too! Aaron even said that my soy ones were better than the chocolate betty crocker ones. He is so sweet.

Avery was so funny. She would be happy and talking like usual, but as soon as we put her witches hat one, she wouldn't talk or smile.

I wanted a picture like this for scrapbooking. Can't you just see it, with the lines from the Adam's family theme song.

My family came down the next day. We ate dinner and played cards. It was a lot of fun.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Funny Story and some cute pictures

Avery had her 9 month check up today. She is 18 lbs 9.5 ounces and is 28 1/4 inches tall. Anyways, she was really tired at her appointment, so when the MD started to assess her, she got frightened and started to cry. So to cheer her up, I bent down to give her a rasberry on her belly, the same time the MD started to fill her belly. So, to make a long story short, I gave the MD a nice big kiss on the hand. It was quite funny. We both laughed. Here are some cute pictures that I took yesterday. I had a ball. She was so funny, and kept pushing the pumpkin off the porch.

Uh-Oh

Here is a cute video of Avery. She is now 9 months old. She does the army crawl, (She is so close to crawling), waves bye-bye and now says uh-oh. She is so cute.

The Pumpkin Patch

On Friday, we went to Logan to hang out with Angi, Dave, Brighton, Craig, Sharelle and Gavin. We went to the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun, but very cold and we didn't come home with any pumpkins. Avery was very bundled, and got to wear her new coat. She was good the whole time, but looking at some of the pictures, she looks exhausted.

Here are some other cute pictures from wednesday. Gavin came over to play, and out of all of Avery's toys in the toy box, Gavin and Avery wanted to play with the toy box. Gavin would climb in and out for at least 1/2 hour. It was so funny.

Have a good day!

Night with Daddy

Two posts in one day. I forgot that I wanted to post some of these pictures. I had a horrible Headache and wasn't feeling well. So Avery and Daddy spent some time together. For the nights entertainment, a tie and a ping pong ball. Here are some cute pictures that Aaron took.

I had been feeling bad the other day, because Avery doesn't have very many toys. So I bought her a couple. She likes them for about 1 minute. She would much rather play with anything besides toys. She is so funny. My aunt calls her monkey feet. Because she picks stuff up with her feet and is always kicking everything.

Inexpensive Wall Art

My Mom and I saw this idea online. (At http://www.sugardoodle.net/) We have seen this before, but they were done with canvus. So for girls night, while the men were at the Priesthood Session we made them. We thought they turned out really cute, and we were excited that we actually finished a project. We ususally have all of these grand ideas, and even get started, be don't always finish. They are just 12 x 12 pictures and scrapbook paper glued to foam. We got everything that we needed at Roberts. Just a note, modge podge does not work on the foam. I loved my Mom's, the pictures were sepia, with the blue, brown, green and orange paper. It worked perfectly in her basement. It is funny. Whenever we do a craft together, I always like hers better, and she always likes mine.
