August Birthdays

Yesterday was my mom's 59th birthday.  Randal, Bethany, and Katie helped her blow out the candles on Sunday.

And last night, Zachary got to help Ashley blow out her candles.  Only two more months and we'll be celebrating the kids' 3rd birthday!!!

Girly Day

Today was fun because I got to go to Abilene for my friend's baby shower.  Here's the bow holder I made.

Day at the Park

We went to the park this morning, and I got some pictures on my phone.  Bethany actually took the one of me...she's a great photograhper!

Train Ride

First things first, we got a house!!!  The contract is signed, but of-course we still have to do the inspection and all that.  It's in Hurst, and I'm so very happy :)

The weather was super nice this morning, so we took the kids on a train ride through Trinity Park.  Then we went to the zoo for an hour before lunch, and they got to touch a snake.  That's one of their favorite things to do.  And we also saw a baby giraffe!

House Hunting

I haven't posted much lately because we've been super busy looking for a house.  Ours is sold, and the closing date is now set for August 24th.  We'll be moving in with Aaron's parents, and I'm just praying for us to find something and for the people to actually accept our offer.  We've already put offers on 3 other houses, and even when we find houses to look at, we discover they've got contracts on them.  So frustrating!  Anyway, the kids are doing well with all the packing going on here.  I took some pictures before bathtime tonight, and I'm not going to post the picture I took of Zachary on the potty, but he DID go potty.  Yay!
