Potty Time?

I bought a little potty a while back, and I've been having the kids use the potty before bath time (but they never actually go).  One sits on the potty seat, or as Bethany says, big potty and little potty.  So, tonight I let them sit while the bath water was running, and then they both got up and got in the tub.  I didn't notice until after we got out of the bathtub that there was actually pee in the little potty.  And Bethany had sat on both potties, which means I don't know who went...but I'm thinking it was ZACHARY!  I let them both put a sticker on our sticker chart, and the next time we go potty I plan on paying better attention :)

Here's a picture from today in Granbury.  We had our first egg hunt of the year, and Bethany was really good.  I think we hid them a dozen times for her to keep finding them!

Fort Worth Zoo

Daddy went with us to the zoo today.  We saw monkies, elephants, hippos, tigers, kangaroos, and even rode the train!

St. Patrick's Day

I tried to get some pictures of us wearing green for St. Patty's Day.  We ended up staying home most of spring break because Bethany got a high fever on Tuesday, then it would go down, and then it would go up again.  I took her to the doctor on Thursday afternoon, and after some not so fun tests, the doctor said it was just a virus.  Her fever was gone Friday morning, so I guess we're back to normal...as long as Zachary doesn't get sick. 

Spring Break

We're officially on spring break!  After lunch today, we went to Woodridge Nursing Home where my Grandma Hodges lives and visited with some of the older members of our church.  This is Bea, my Grandma's cousin.  The kids were saying hi to everyone and enjoyed "singing" to them.

The weather turned out to be nice this afternoon, so we took the kids to a new park by our house.  I think they liked it!

Fruit of the Spirit

Our preschool program this year was all about the fruit of the spirit.  For those of you who don't know, I'm the music and movement teacher at the preschool I went to when I was 3 and 4.  We had our 30 year reunion dinner tonight, and my teacher from when I was 3 years old came from Arkansas.  I have many fond memories of Miss Lucy.

Time to get dirty :)

For those of you still reading my blog, here are some pictures from our friends' land.  We took Bethany, Zachary, and Katie out there yesterday.  The weather was gorgeous again, and we got to see their finished bridge.  Katie had fun going across it on the four-wheeler with Mr. John.  Bethany and Zachary liked seeing all the cows, but she didn't want to ride anything...so she walked around with Ms. Jacki.  We always have fun enjoying the great outdoors as a family!
