I thought I'd end the year with some videos. This is also my 600th post. Wow!!

Sickness
As of now, our whole family has had the stomach bug except for me! Katie actually had it the week before Christmas, then Aaron, then Adam, then Zachary, and today was Bethany's turn. We had already planned a trip to our friends' land, and since Bethany ended up getting sick today, we took Zachary and Katie. Well, Katie had a blast driving around in the jeep AND the big ATV.
Here's a picture of the bridge the guys have been working on for a while. Aaron's out in the middle (soon there will be planks all the way across to drive the 4-wheelers on) while John is down below fixing the center supports. I think I got that right.

Our Engagement
Aaron proposed 8 years ago today! I was living in the apartments across the street from our church, and my friend Christa lived in the same apartments with her husband. She knew Aaron was going to propose, and they set up a surprise engagement party for me. This is a "reenactment" of the proposal!
Friends since high school :)

More Christmases
Christmas is officially over in our house (ALL decorations are down inside and out)! I think the pictures show we had a very, merry Christmas and enjoyed spending time with all of our families. The kids love playing with all their new toys, and I'm having fun doing laundry and hanging up all the new clothes. We celebrated at our house on Thursday and in Granbury with my dad's side of the family on Friday. On Saturday, we spent the day with Aaron's family, and then on Sunday we had Christmas with my family after church. We also stopped by Aaron's aunt's house on Christmas night for one last round of presents. We're definitely taking it easy after a busy weekend! Hope all of your Christmases were full of fun.

1st Round of Christmas
We celebrated Christmas with the Raders (Aaron's dad's family) on Saturday. There's 8 little kids now, so they got to draw names and exchange presents. They played so well together!!
Then on Sunday we got together with my mom's side of the family. We had lots of fun!

Ice Age
We seem to go through movie phases, and right now our favorite movie is Ice Age.
They especially love the beginning...as you're about to see.
Christmas Party
Yesterday was our party day at school. The kids enjoyed their cookies, and they got to see Santa. He gave them each a book, and as we were leaving, they both waved bye-bye.
Eating snacks with all their friends.
Bethany was braver than Zachary, but she's not so sure about Santa.
The best picture I could get of Ms. Hollee's class.

Gift Giving
Zachary and Bethany gave a Christmas present to Ms. Hollee this morning. We've been so lucky to have her as their teacher!

Santa Claus
Aaron's parents took the kids back to the Gaylord this year to get their picture made with Santa. They're not smiling, but at least there's no tears!
Last year's Santa picture they weren't even looking at the camera :)

Green Day at School
Each month we focus on a different color at school. This month's color was green. Here's the kids with their class (minus one boy).
After Bethany woke up from her nap at home, she spent some time playing Legos.
Zachary pushed the stroller around...he likes to collect blocks and things along the way.
Then we watched the "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" cartoon after dinner.

Cheese Face
It's been cold and rainy outside, so we've been staying inside a lot. Here are some random pictures of "cheese" faces...and Zachary showing me his best Guns Up sign!

Cold = Fire
We made our first fire of the season, and everyone seemed to like it. Notice Bethany has her "night-night" in hand. She has to have her blankets to go to bed...not really any particular blanket, so that's good.
Rudy enjoying the fire.

College Football
All our Christmas decorations are up, and it's really starting to feel like winter! This picture was taken a few weeks ago when it wasn't so cold. The kids always have fun jumping in the leaves at my parents' house.
Yesterday we got to go to the Tech/Baylor game with Aaron's parents. It was fun (especially since we were in a suite at Cowboys Stadium). Too bad Texas Tech lost!
Here's our Christmas lights and decorated tree :)
