went to see a doc this morning cuz flu got really bad.
saw this doc being recommended on a forum for his skin care regime
so decided to look him up.
he's so funny.
i only asked if i should apply sunblock when i visit the states in summer
and he went on and on about one million and one stories of pple who get acne because of sunblock.
LOL.
ok, so no sunblock.
a cap it is. ;)
i must say the cleanser he gave is really gd.
totally doesn't dry my skin.
one wash and my flaky skin disappeared!
(i'm not kidding!)
all these medicine for $53.
not bad huh.
beats visiting the skin specialist that'll probably cost me a few grand. :)


and i finally got a chance to do my nails again. :)
ok, i know it's exam period.
but that's not a good reason to have ugly nails k? :P

Had really unhealthy food yesterday.
so decided to stock up on the fruit intake. :)
and what better fruit to eat than the orange!!!
BUT...
this being the first time i've ever peeled an orange,
everything became a disaster.
i remembered someone telling me to roll the orange abit so that it'll be easier to peel.
done.
and when i tried digging into the skin to pull it off...
*ouch*
it was tougher than i thought!
then i thought, might as well use a knife to slice the skin off right?
but it didn't make anything easier!
so went back to using my bare hands again.
took me like 10 mins to peel one orange?
retarded.
i should just ask mum to peel them for me and leave 'em in the fridge.
no more orange-peeling for me! :P

now it's back to more studying.
i can't wait for it all to be over!!! : (

Was the last day of school yesterday.
and what an eventful day i must say.
went to school late and i only had a 1-hour tutorial yesterday.
so ended up staying in school for less than 45mins when i travelled for an hour there. ) :
then had to rush home for an online lecture.
but when i got home...
was locked outside the house.
WHY?
'cause i had forgotten my keys when i rushed out in the morning!!!
and when i tried calling the whole world,
nobody answered.
and Eliz who's usually home that early had to go out for her driving lesson.
So called bro and he advised me to visit granny instead.
and that's what i did.
walked in the blazing sun to granny's hse
BUT...
nobody was home.
no answer when i knocked, called her hse or her mobile.
was like "Great, now i'll have to sit at the void-deck and pray for a miracle."
asked the neighbor if she'd seen my granny and she said she's probably gone downstairs to shop.
(think she couldn't recognize me and thought i was some sales person or something. LOL.)
so went downstairs and God answered my prayer.
there she was buying all her groceries.
well...
good timing according to her, cuz she bought alot of stuff and needed someone to help carry them. ;)
guess God has a plan for everything, huh? :)
missed the online discussion, but apparently there was network problems.
so they are having a make-up session today. :D


Just when i thought things have changed for the better,
it got worse at night.

Family celebrated Aunty Pauline's birthday at a famous seafood restaurant along East Coast road.
The food was "WOW".
LOL.
though i think the chilli crab is still not as good as my mum's.
:P
Mum ordered drunken prawns.
so we had to see those poor prawns struggle in beer.
LOL.
oh well...
at least they had beer before they died rite? :P

been watching alot of 女人我最大 and 大小爱吃 this week.

was suppose to meet the marketing group at 3.30pm at Vivo.
then pple just start sms-ing that they'll be late and all...
so we only managed to meet at 5+.
what's worse was, we only met for like half an hr just to decide who does what and to get a phone number for the marketing manager.
oh well...
guess we're efficient? :P

decided to meet zach at vivo for dinner since i was already there.
and we had sushi tae. :)
the food was great!

we then headed down to visit zach's dad at sgh.
he looks better and seems happier.
probably cuz he knows he'll be discharged the next day. ;)

i didn't realize it's April's Fool today.
guess nobody really cares about these insignificant dates as you grow older.
this project thing is really getting on my nerves quite abit.
it's sickening when people say you're free
or know most about the topic
and should do all the extra work
when the fact is you're rushing like mad to finish up other stuff
but just choose not to complain about them in the open like the rest.
crud.
my advise: do some self-reflection before the world starts to hate you.
