What A Year!!

Well, since we just started this blog and since it is New Years Eve I decided I would write a little about my crazy (but exciting) 2007!
Ok, I'll start with January my birthday!! (sorry, couldn't help but put that!)
Lets see, on February 13 my oldest brother got home from serving an LDS mission in Mesa, Arizona! It was great having him back after only speaking over the phone on Mothers Day and Christmas for the last two years!!
10 days later (Feb. 23) my oldest sister got married to her Ney Jersey sweetheart! Talk about one cold, snowy wedding day!! The snow made the pics really pretty though, cause otherwise it would just be dry and dead looking.
Since her husband is from Ney Jersey, most of our family took a trip out there in June for a wedding reception for all his friends and family there! We were there for about 2 weeks, and we were able to spend a day in New York!!
On September 27 my oldest brother got married! His wife is actually the daughter of the wood shop teacher at school! She waited for him while he was on his mission so we all new it was coming the only question was when was he gonna propose!
Last but deffinetly not least, on December 3rd my second oldest sister and her husband had their first baby!! She is my first neice and she is absolutely gorgeous!!
That was my awesome 2007!! Bring it on 2008!! :)

Socks for Christmas

KAJ says - Okay so on Christmas Eve my mom's parents and sister came over to have dinner with us and open presents. My dad's mom and brother were supposed to come too, but the weather was really bad and they didn't feel like driving out in it, and my grandma wasn't feeling well. So yesterday we went out to her place to give her present to her, and to drop off the present for my dad's brother. She gave us our presents and the ones from my dad's brother. I got a book of Christmas stories with The Christmas Carol in it from my grandma, and from my dad's brother I got something that made me laugh. Socks. What kid doesn't dread getting socks or under wear for Christmas?
I haven't received something like that in quite a while. I was very amused since he also gave socks to my brother and dad, while my two little sisters got toys from him. It was pretty unusual to receive that from him because every year he would surprise us with the coolest things, and this year he resorted to giving the older ones socks.
Man, it's great growing up.

School Projects...

KAJ says - Ah crap! Christmas break is almost over and I haven't worked on ANY of my school projects that are due once we get back... I am sooo not looking forward to working on them. I know I should be, but doing other things is way funner... One in Science, one in math, and one in English... plus all the homework...

LJR says - Whatever KAJ I have 4 projects due within the month we get back! One for World Geography due the flippin' day we get back!! (What in the world is Mr.D thinking!) One speech for science, one interview for geography, one game for English, and one posterboard for math! UGH!! Oh crud! I just remembered I have to get with Cinisugar so we can finish (you guessed it) another project for Spanish!! We're all gonna die...
