I opened my eyes with a jolt of alertness. It was dark. I hear raindrops splattering against the window grill as cold wind rushed in through the gap, making my body even colder than ever. Scanning through my surroundings, I dropped my guard - I'm in my room. I flipped off my blanket, only to realise that I'm bare to the skin. I needed to put on some clothes, but not before checking the time out. The red alarm clock on the counter read 7:34am. The time surprised me a little, as I ought to have more sleep. Nevertheless, I stepped down the bed and started walking to the cupboard.I felt the coldness as my skin comes into contact with the floor tiles. A tiny chill ran down my spine as I shivered a little. I was on msn when the handphone rang. I picked it up and saw that it was from a number I did not know. I answered the phone,"Hello?" The voice from the other side was that of a middle-aged lady. "Hello, I'm Aunty Jenny, are you about to sleep?" Me: "Eh..no, not really,why?" Auntie Jenny: "Ah..good good, eh, you got the slip of paper?" Me: "Har? What paper?" If I can..and if I am not so lazy as to type for 10 minutes straight, I would blog my life away. Writing brings about a serene feeling in me, as compared to just talking. However, talking provides a more direct and immediate form of interaction. If only my speech is better...then I could had done lots more. I feel so...fulfilled today, haha It's the first day of my 1-week leave and the day started at 9am and...I managed to surf net till 10am before pulling myself up to do the stuff I intended to do: cleaning up my room So...out came everything and yeah..though I threw away less stuff these time, I cleaned out more dust than the last x.x So now my room is dust free, at least to the naked eye, hahaha, and I've got my white cabinet in place, woot! Phase 2 of my White Revolution plan has been completed! Anyway, White Revolution is my plan to turn my room into a themed room, in this case, the theme is White, heh.. Removed all my lzl pictures and repainted my entire room with dad's help (thanks dad!) today, so now my walls are kinda bare.. Spent part of ym evening after basketball at the playground watching babies, lol..as I drank the 1.5L of 100Plus.. Suddenly, memories came rushing to my head as I recall how was it like in the past - me playing with the sand at the playground, trying to build a sandcastle but always failing to do so. And it dawned on me. I don't know if it is appreciation, adoration, conscience, guilt or love but I felt that 21 years is really very long and it has been a long and hard road for both mum and dad Like I said before, I just wanna make them proud :D And I will continue to strive to do so Whee~

Covered the Indian dance event at Sengkang CC the other day and I swear, it is like Zouk - Indian style 1) Indians 2) Indian music 3) Indian dance 4) Indian food 5) Ang Moh drinks (coke and sprite) 6) 3 random Ang Mohs 7) 2 Chinese (a lady + me) I've never been surrounded by 200 Indians in my life before that night...
