I just got this book, which I find that it's a really good read God's End: Tha Fall by Michael McBride It's filled with great,vivid descriptions of everything, feelings,emotions,locations,anything you can think of. It is a joy to read every page of it. Eg: "Phoenix didn't even know how he looked like, for he had only seen himself through the eyes of The Swarm. I read this article regarding Praise The headline goes something like this: Should praise be given readily to improve performance? Some of the people interviewed said that they give praise whenever it is needed, but they wouldn't give it readily A lot of them acknowledged that praise would definitely improve morale and performance for a while, but wouldn't give it easily as they are scared that their students/employees would become complacent For me, there was once I tried so hard just hoping to get a word of praise, but no matter how hard I tried, I still wouldn't meet the expectations So I just gave up and became happier, lol Praise is needed, and I know myself, thriving on praise, but not to the point of using praise to raise my ego, but with the little bit of praise, it can drive me on further, and longer Praise is needed- simple logic, everyone understands it, but nobody does it Quite sad, eh?

Album Review: F.I.R - 爱·歌姬 F.I.R's latest album, 爱·歌姬 was hugely anticipated by their loyal fans, including myself. Personally, I think that in terms of singing, Faye has improved by leaps and bounds since their first album, hitting high notes and pitches throughout most of the songs in the album. The music remixing has also improved, giving the listeners a jap-like feel to some of the songs, well,the album is supposed to be Jap-themed after all. However, as I prefer fast songs, there's only 1 track in the album (第十行星) which attracted my attention. It's just like the old F.I.R's Rock style, giving listeners a high feeling.
