Time to update

January through March? Good times! Lots of motorcycle/4-wheel riding. Some football, soccer, and enjoying the sunshine. Life is great! One of the best memories I will have for a long time is the surprise trip we took to Minnesota to visit Tim's parents. Tim's dad knew we were coming but his mom had NO IDEA. Talk about a classic reaction of absolute disbelief! Follow the link to see Sally's surprise. LOVED every minute we were out there with our awesome MN family!

Also, Happy Birthday to my amazing little sister and Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hey Annie, remember our trip to Ireland? Kissing the Blarney Stone...eating "scones"...staying up late talking with Heidi...and loving some good Irish Garth singing! LOVE YOU SISTER!

Worthington Christmas Letter 2010

Merry Christmas everyone! 2010 was a great year for the Worthington crew. We have so much to be grateful for and thought we would share a few our years highlights. Hope you enjoy the pics too and don't forget to leave us a little note!

Tim: Ran the Grand Canyon from south rim to north rim back to south rim. 50+ miles in less than one day! I say crazy, he just grunts and pounds his chest with his fist while grinning from ear to ear. Working with the 9 year old boy cub scouts. Loves to get out on his motorcycle whenever he has a free minute (which isn’t very often). Enjoys racing RC trucks with the boys, and doing things outdoors. Still loves to fly the F-15E, and will be switching from Active Duty Air Force to the Reserves in March. This will allow us to stay here in Vegas and not have to move for a nice long time.

Allison: LOVED setting up our new house. Loves to have friends and family come to visit. Started running…though I still can’t say I love it, I do enjoy the time with Tim. Is a true soccer mom who spends quite a bit of time in chauffer mode. Was just called to be the Stake Primary President. (Not really sure what they were thinking.) :)

Kennedy: (11 ½ ) Excellent student who got straight A’s all year and loves being in Middle School. Playing her 8th year of soccer and is an amazingly fast defender who can out run and out play girls twice her size. Beautiful piano player who will sit and play for hours. Just completed her Faith in God requirements. Is learning to play the violin in her school’s orchestra. Just donated 12 1/2 in. of hair to Locks of Love. Takes such good care of her younger brothers and is a huge help to Mom.

Tyler: (9) Amazes us with his athletic ability in soccer and now also football. Played his first season of flag football and made both the offensive and defensive all-star team. Got all A’s in school this year. Made his school’s honor choir. Is a great piano player. Loves to ride his motorcycle, go swimming, camping and anything outside or active. Enjoys scouting and having Dad as his scout leader. Is a very active, intelligent kid who is liked by everyone.

Logan: (5 ½) Enjoys life and learning new things. Is doing excellent in school as he learns to read and figure out math problems. Was his soccer teams high scoring player, usually scoring 6 or more goals a game. Amazing swimmer who loves to jump off the top of our waterfall into the pool. Loves to ride his motorcycle and try to keep up with Tyler and Dad. Always quick to laugh and make others smile.

Colton: (2 ½) Our happy little sunshine boy. Loves balls, dinosaurs, trucks, and all things BOY! Mommy’s smiley buddy and a great little helper around the house. Has great vocab and loves to use big words like “actually” and “promptly”. It is rare to not find a huge smile on Colton’s face as he tries hard to keep up with the big kids. A real joy to be around and is growing up so fast!

This year our family has enjoyed moving into a new home, swimming, camping, fishing, motorcycle riding trips, water tubing, snow sledding, and hiking just to name a few. We love that Vegas allows us to be outside for so much of the year!

Hope that our family and friends are enjoying this holiday season. We have been so blessed this year and thank our Savior for his life and his gospel. We love and miss you! If you ever pass through Vegas please know that you’ll have a place to stay! Best wishes for 2011!

Love,
The Worthington's

Updated Photos

So I added some photos from the past few months. Yes, it has been a while but here they are. No stories or info other than the pictures this time around. Enjoy.

You will notice Colton has a bruise above his eye and one below his eye. The one above his eye is from jumping on the couch. The very next day he received the one below his eye from catching a baseball with his face. I am sure there are more of those to come.
